I love how horse racing and in particular the grand national have such great meaning to us. You can always remember with Great detail the day you had the winner. Such a nice story of you and your friend Jim. God bless. Memories are all we have in the end. 😊
@@Savagejoe_exp couldn't have put that more beautiful, the memories occasion the National cheltenham , never forget that day , god rest jim has was such a good friend, and drinking that night we Toasted comply or Die 20 times at least!! He loved his racing also , because when you mentioned memories, I said back War of Attrition for the Gold cup prior to Aintree think he had a tenner on it !! Then he told me as he cheered Comply or die he was shouting andy you were right again lol . What memories and thank you again means a lot you replying to this occasion and it has a smile on me in remembering jim and that year At Aintree
@@andrewnelis9791 i remember that day it was St. Patrick’s day 2006 cant remember what I backed but I didn’t have the winner I know that. That was a great day out. I love when the gold cup falls on paddy’s day. You’re welcome. Hopefully we can pick the winner at Aintree in a couple weeks!
My 3rd grand national winner this 👍🏼 even had Timmy Murphy's autobiography later that year as a xmas present, a great read particularly when Timmy recounts his winning ride....
@@Savagejoe_exp At the time of it being my 3rd winner, the others were Earth Summit (1998) & Hedgehunter (2005). Did add 3 more winners towards the end of the 2010s mind 😉
I love hearing about which National winners people backed. I've had a fairly decent record over the years. I backed Red Rum every time he ran, so there's three winners straight off the bat. Then I picked Lucius, Ben Nevis, Corbiere, Earth Summit, Silver Birch, Ballabriggs, Neptune Collonges, and Tiger Roll when he first won it. As for this year, I might back whatever Rachael Blackmore is riding. The way she is going, she could be the first female rider to win.
My first national winner, great video thanking you

Comply or Die …. Sadly that’s true for these poor horses.
