Excellent infovideo, SSI. That's one reason I love your videos: they're both rather cathartic to watch, but they pass off that great vibe of "recycling is good" as well. Thank you!
@KenanVideos I'm in Vic, theres no program to encourage people to recycle them, only scrap ally prices. the price isn't much different to mag wheel or extruded scrap.
@Aussie50 Fair enough, I remember going through a road in victoria and seeing so many cans on the side of the road, We had a good feed off them, but only got 5c each at a time Encourage was the word I was looking for too :p
I'd like to see a video on the safety procedures that are necessary around these machines. I admit it, I'm a total tool geek! But I'll bet even non-geeks are wondering what would happen if a person fell in there. (Not a pretty thought.) What do you do to make sure that can't happen?
Can you shred fire extinguishers or other high pressure containers? Without the stuff in of course..even though that would be cooler! (But 1000 times more dangerous)
@AGDemo Our manufacturing headquarters is in Wilsonville, Oregon. If you'd like, contact us at sales@ssiworld.com or call (503) 682-3633. We'd be happy to provide you with more information to help you find the right shredder for your needs. Thanks!
yep I love it. I've recycled cans all my life. I am 50 yrs this yr. In the 70s I remember the price was almost 2 dollars a pound. Now days it's a joke. I still save my cans for a good price. Of course they are falling out of my ASS. I use a sledge to smash my cans. Love to get a machine to smash them but, right. Prices for that is another joke.

Makes me happy to recycle. More things to shred.
@satch2006 That varies and depends on the overall throughput
@DAABOSS69 Engine blocks are shredded on the WatchItShred website> look for Engine Blocks
Cool, always wondered what happens to cans... I've been wondering, what powers the shredder?
Introducing the SSI-BBS The Big Badass Shredder.
Great video!
If I hit the lottery, I'm buying their biggest shredder to shred my credit card statements.
@Aussie50 Damn, what state you at? They used to be 5c here maybe 2 years ago but they upped the price to get people to recycle them more
@DAABOSS69 yes, this channel shows engine blocks shredding also
Ware can I see these machines in person to buy?
I have a question. Does the diamond they use for the shredder come from Ussynthetic?
You get 10c each can in South Australia

@DAABOSS69 I'm pretty sure they've already done that. Look for their "engine blocks" video.
he guys, is there some system in the shredder that makes the shredder stop if a human falls into them or not
