We're back! Our commentaries for these next two episodes were actually recorded a while ago just after the early releases, but we ended up waiting until the US release to post them. I'm sure you're all excited for our commentary of _The Perfect Pear_, and since the US release of that episode was also this weekend, we'll be releasing our commentary of that soon (in the next day or so) so be ready! ;-)
I swear this episode was to fully support the Fluttercord ship, lol. Because that's what it feels like. Discord was just so sweet trying to make things comfortable for Fluttershy, and Fluttershy was just as sweet trying to make things go back to normal; she even had similar ideas that he had. Staircase that goes nowhere, tea that sing. That's just great. I also loved the lesson, so sweet! This whole entire episode was just a giant sweet filled upside down cake full of sprinkles and frosting. Just oh my gosh! So sweet. I shipped it before, but I ship it even harder now. But even without the ship their friendship is adorable! Love it so much. Great reaction and can't wait for more! XD.
This is an answer I love giving. Of course the money is his. He's an employee of the crown, Celestia probably pays him for the work he does. And since Discord has no real need for money it just stockpiles up.
Yeah, Celestia did say she had use of his special chaotic talents. Sensing magical imbalances like with Tirek. But we never actually see his actual job...
I don't know wheter it's funny or scary that Pinkie can make a better Fluttershy costume than Discord. Headcanon ----Pinkie is secretly more powerful than Discord.
Ever notice how Pinkie is getting a lot more screen time in this season? Moreso then any of the other six? Even in episodes that are focusing on other characters, she makes an appearance and even gets a few lines. Honest Apple , Discordant Harmony, A Flurry of Emotions... As well as focusing more on her than most of the others when they are all in the episode. Fluttershy Leans in, Celestia Advice. Heck, in a couple she makes a don't blink or you'll miss it appearance. (Parental Glideance, A Royal Problem) While with Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Twilight, unless the episode has the whole group or focuses on them in particular, they don't appear at all. Wonder if all this Pinkie connects to the movie, where the trailer also contains more Pinkie than most of the other Mane 6.
1. Ah, Sassy Saddles. (And Starlight Glimmer apparently, but she sounds a lot more like Sassy Saddles here.) Makes sense. 2. Man, looking at that page it's amazing how often voice actors get reused in MLP. Celestia, Tree Hugger, Cheerilee, and Spitfire were all played by the same person? That's some serious talent right there. 4. Ah, good point.
I never even noticed that the last dress,he wore was the same one Q wore til you said it and i have every episode of star trek tng and usually watch them regularly so how i didn't notice is beyond me
They've been usimg Disney elements from the beginning. Though now it seems to be more like DisneyFanatic! Bride of Discord looks pretty established to me, how long before they make Daughter of Discord official?
