Incredibly delicious bread with a crispy crust! BROA - Portuguese Corn Bread in 10 Minutes

- Hello friends! Today I baked Portuguese bread BROA with corn flour.
This is a nice and soft twist on broa bread that has slight differences from the original broa bread recipe.
In total, you spend 10-15 minutes of your time preparing such a bread, the rest of the time you just stand or bake the bread.
Such bread is incredibly tasty with excellent crumb and crispy crust.
In the video I show 2 types of bread. Both options are good.
The beauty of this recipe is that you can immediately knead the dough into multiple batches and store them in the fridge for up to 10 days.
Bake bread if necessary. The recipe is simple.
ANYONE can make this bread recipe!
The main thing is to cook with joy and love!
Portuguese Corn Bread Recipe:
Sieve 710 g premium wheat flour.
Add 240 g wholemeal corn flour.
1 tablespoon instant dry yeast (10 g) or 30 g fresh yeast.
Add 1 tbsp. Salt.
Mix well.
680 ml warm water.
We just need to mix all the dough ingredients well.
I knead the dough with my hands, it's faster for me.
Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
The dough has risen well.
Dust the dough with corn flour and divide into 2 pieces.
Sprinkle the table with cornmeal.
Put the dough on the table.
Just make our future bread.
Repeat after me.
Prepare a bowl for rising dough.
Place parchment paper lightly dampened with water in a bowl.
Sprinkle with cornmeal.
Cover and set in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.
Form a second loaf.
Repeat after me.
For this bread I greased the pan with olive oil.
Cover and set in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.
Place a pan with a lid in the oven and heat to 230°C.
Put the bread in the hot pot.
Sprinkle bread with cornmeal.
Score the bread with a blade.
Bake for 20 minutes at 230°C.
Then bake another 30 without a lid at 210°C.
Sprinkle the second bread with cornmeal.
Score the bread with a blade.
Bake in the oven at 230°C for 40 minutes.
You can put a mug of water in the oven.
I baked these 2 loaves at the same time.
Very nice and aromatic bread!

Hi, love this recipe which looks delicious but in the UK I don't think I've ever seen Wholemeal Corn Flour...Only the usual plain white corn flour that one adds to cakes etc...can this be purchased on line do you know.., Great tutorial again thank you..

@@rosariocalderonfuentes5697 Bom dia escaldar é pôr água quase a ferver por cima da farinha de milho, do sal e do açúcar talvez 1 colher de sobremesa. Quando estiver morna adiciona a farinha de trigo o fermento e tudo o que a receita tiver.

I did the same thing with another one of her recipes--used all-purpose flour because of not knowing what she meant by 'premium' wheat flour. Results weren't so good. Found out from another comment, that in the US, it is bread flour. Which makes sense as it has a higher gluten/ protein content, resulting in a higher rise & better texture. Also the term corn flour causes a lot of confusion (sometimes people think it's cornstarch)...It's finely ground cornmeal (not the coarser grain used in polenta). Also, another comment suggested scalding the cornmeal first & recommended Flavor of the Azores site for Portuguese bread.
