How to quickly install a door knob (Secret Tab!)

It was only recently that I discovered there is a SMALL TAB located on interior door-knobs that allows them to be easily removed in order to properly tighten the bolts that holds everything together. Easily change-out your existing door hardware or simply remove to paint the door and then quickly re-install!

Not all doorknobs have this, just checked every one in my house and none of them have the tab or a set screw

Why is my lock tab backwards when I lock it is horizontal and when unlocked it's vertical?

Some require an allen wrench bit to counter clock twist to remove as well.

Why do people use knobs instead of levers? Levers are great for pushing and pulling doors open and closed PLUS if you are limited on hands than they a re much easier to open. You dont even need free hands!
