      Bro I was there as an employee in game 3 against Joe Nathan. I wish you guys experienced that. The stadium was actually shaking. It was an earthquake in Yankee stadium. I was by gate 9 with a broom stick 🧹 weeping. All of the sudden ppl went nuts. Ppl running around hugging each other. An old lady hugged me and kissed me on cheek out of joy. It was an event I hope I get to tell grand kids one day. 😂

      Yeah CC won it with 2 really good starts but I don't think it should go to a pitcher with 2 really good starts when you have a hitter that hot carrying the offense. Especially when one of those homers they couldn't have won without, in game 2.

      @@Schwedeballz A-rod was past his prime at that point in 2011-2012 so you can’t hold that against him. Plus the entire Yankee lineup struggled in the 2012 playoffs. They only had two games that entire postseason in which they scored more than 3 runs which were game 1 against the Orioles and Game 1 against the Tigers. Every other game they scored 3 or less.

      m turley the 200’s were such great years for baseball and many things in my opinion. Specially since I grew up around that time, so it’s kinda sad to see the players I used to watch growing up retire one by one.

    I am a Yankees fan, this year I had a lot of personal issues and got kicked out of college for financial issues. A-Rod redeeming himself made me feel better and actually got me to get back on track.

    A Rod was only 4 Home Runs away from getting 700, I wish he would have been picked up by another team in 2016 and play until he got 700 HR, only 3 players have ever hit 700 career HR's

    I remember that for years, I dreaded ARod at the plate for the Yankees in the playoffs because he couldn’t get it done in the postseason. He choked a lot. Then 2009 came around and he went from playoff zero to playoff HERO. Once he found his stride in tthe postseason, the Yankees were suddenly unstoppable.

    I remember watching the Yanks win the WS at Senor Swankey's bar on the UWS. The place went insane. Beer sprayed by the bar tenders all around. I want that again.

    The crowd was so loud in his ALDS Game 2 home run, that the audio technicians had to lower the volume. You don't see that often.
    The one year A-Rod truly redeemed himself... until he started taking PEDs again in 2010, but that's besides the point.

    joe buck has a great voice for commentating. if he would've shown some excitement and if he didn't hate the yankees so much he would've had some epic commentary
    plus a-rod's and judge's swings are kind of similar, with that one armed hesitation when they think or know they hit one out, that second of watching to make sure. both smooth as hell. judge's pre-swing routine is like a metronome, back and forth tick tock tick tock
