Getting a evh 5150 overdrive pedal for my boss katana and a evh chorus pedal. How is that evh wah. I am thinking of getting one also. I have the phase and flanger and the moore pitchbox pedal to get that evh van haggar tone like the eventide h3000 that eddie used.set switch to detune amd knob to -2 !and bam it is exact tone to a T. I think best evh tone he ever had was on balance amd fuck albums. Also loved the 5150 album tone.

Brian bell of weezer has always been a hugh vh fan. I know this because I k nhi ow Brian. We graduated high school together at Bearden high school in koxville tn . His dad was also my guidance teacher at college in knoxville. So a album with vh type songs doesnt surprise me with brian. Here is a unknown fact of brian bell. In high school he always wore a black iron maiden or ozzy concert t shirts to school. He also love Metallica fan. He was a heavy metal fan in high school big time. Long black hair past his shoulder lol. I will call brian and ask about the vh influence for new songs and let you guys know. Vh forever. By the way I read to day roth came out and it is offical. Evh is doing very bad with throat cancer.
