Love the raw honesty Sam. It is very brave to admit vulnerability. I did make knickers a few years ago from jersey scraps but never finished them as I didn’t have any knicker elastic. I find the idea of making underwired bras off-putting due to all the notions and don’t think a bralette would work. I’m a 32f and it’s easier to buy a few from Bravissimo every year. However, I’d still watch your deep dive as it could work for swim/sleep wear.

Love your dress, it's beautiful. I have been making underwear this year. I used up all my left over jersey fabric and have purchased fabric for knickers, too. I found them great fun to make and I am still at it. I have tried four patterns and continue to use two of them, neither were free. I haven't yet branched out into bra making, but I will in time.
Watched your beast reduction vlog….very informative…. Recently I had a breatcancer lumpectamy…..large scar etc….now I’m 3/4 way through chemo….not nice , but do-able…. Love your vlogs…full of colour and chatty natter…absolutely love it…I also love large drop earrings and crafts of all sorts…keep up with your vlogs….!! 😊🇦🇺🎄
Ive just begun to sew patterns that are not the traditional pattern companies that we purchase in a store. Id love to see free patterns. Thanks. By the way, you always look very nice but you looked stunning at the beginning.
I tried bra making and after the 8 toile I gave up. I was new to sewing so maybe it was just too precise for my skill level. Craftsy has a couple great courses and also RUclips channels dedicated to bra making. Good luck if you decide to try it.
You're dress looks great. I've made the same dress twice and in each one the cross of the wrap just about chokes me and the dress looks awful. Would you mind telling me what size you make- as in, do you make the recommended size? Have you made one in cotton lycra? I wonder if that's where i went wrong
