A bit of a different video for you today! I hope you like it. ❤ RIP Chloe 🐕 Pre-Order my new book, Moving Abroad For Dummies: amzn.to/4eTs9T2 Get help moving abroad: www.travelingwithkristin.com/relocation // Try going vegan in January for 31 days: veganuary.com/ 🌿
Going vegan? What a terrible decision! It's gonna impact your health in such a negative way that you can't even imagine. I always thought you as a very attractive lady for your age, but now things are going to change if you start being vegan and you stick to it long enough. There are plenty of 25 year old vegans looking like they're 40 or something, so prepare to age faster than ever before. But why, if you could be 40 and still look like you were 25? January is also world carnivore month! Look it up!
Don’t ever apologize for showing emotions. It’s so important to acknowledge how things impact you. And it helps your community connect to you. Thank you for showing your heart and being willing to share those raw feelings. More people need to be like this. We are all here for you giving you a virtual hug and cheering you on.
Thank you so much for your understanding and kind words. Your virtual hug means the world to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for your support. We’re all in this together, and I appreciate you being part of this journey! 💖
So sorry to hear of your challenges. We all go thru things in life but my heart goes out to you, especially with the loss of your beloved dog. My mother used to say "into each life, some rain must fall". Very happy to hear of your relationship and hope it is one of love and support. I have been watching your videos for years and always enjoy them. Wishing you you the very best going forward.
Thank you for the personal update, Kristin. Your honesty in previous videos is highly appreciated. We aren't just "ups", sometimes we're "down" as well. Grateful to you for showing both sides of traveling. Sorry for the loss of your dog, Kristin, I said goodbye to my own dog 2 days ago. It really is hard. Wishing you a happy 2025. PS: Get a member section! And great to hear you find someone nice. :-)
Thank you so much for your kind words, and I'm so sorry for your loss as well @Nighthawk2211. Your support means a lot to me. Wishing you a peaceful and fulfilling 2025 as well, and thank you again for being so thoughtful! 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words and support. I'm also grateful for the positive energy surrounding my relationship, and I'm glad to be able to inspire. Wishing you all the best as well! ❤️
I'm so sorry about the loss of your puppy. You work so hard to put out amazing content (which I and so many others truly appreciate) and my New Year's wish for you is to get some "time to have time" (I love what the customer said) and ease into the new adventures that you're about to have. We'll remain here to support you! All the best to you and your family!
Thank you so much for your kind words and support @forestcreature88. I’m so grateful for your encouragement and I’ll definitely take the time to ease into new adventures. Wishing you all the best in the new year as well! 💖
I just found your channel and subscribed, Kristen. Great content. Sorry to hear about your family trauma and the passing of your pup. Taking the time for healing and self-reflection is important. I’ve been a self-employed pet sitter for the past 10 years, and the only challenging thing about it is when I lose a (client’s) pet. I’ve also lost a few of my own. The pain is real, and raw. I was a vegan for five years before going back to being an omnivore. Stay with it for a year and you’ll never go back to eating like crap again. It was life-changing for me. All the best in 2025. It’s nice you have someone special to share it with.
Thank you so much for your kind words and support, and for sharing your experiences. I appreciate your perspective on veganism, and I’m glad to hear it was a transformative experience for you, @dwmcsweeney. Wishing you all the best in 2025 as well! 🙏🌟
William, here, one of your clients. I have a fellowship in integrative medicine from the University of Arizona (Dr Andrew Weil). Nutrition is a huge part of the curriculum. I applaud your movement away from the standard American diet and toward less inflammatory and less fake nutrition. You will reverse age for sure.
I just saw on Law&Crime channel they are asking people in the US who have diabetes or fatty liver disease to contact a particular law firm who have opened a class action law suit against food companies in the US who make and sell highly processed foods. I wish them all the best.
Bring vulnerable, is really a sign of strength. Thank you for sharing. Please continue to spread word of a Whole Food plant based diet or however you choose to say it. So many people are suffering from diet and lifestyle and don’t know it. As RIP ESSELSTYN said it “ you don’t know what’s behind the curtain until you see it”
So sorry for your loss of Chloe and whatever other sad family issue you had. I wish you a much better 2025! Congrats on the new book and it's great to hear of your relationship which hopefully won't have to remain long distance. I appreciate your getting personal with us because I enjoy "knowing" you a bit better than just a youtuber or podcaster, you are also a great human.
You are my friend , you have been so inspirational. I love what you have to tell us. Your approach is so natural and informative. I recently discovered you. Perfect timing. Thank you for your gifts.
Thank you for this update and for your forthrightness. While you don’t owe us any explanations about your life choices, it did make me feel more connected to you as you opened up. It’s so wild you mention a PhD in anthropology… I’m teaching an undergraduate course this spring on Archives and Collective Memory, and it’s a course that’s been taught before but I’m revamping as I want to teach it “my way.” Putting together that reading list has been some real emotional work, but it also prompted me to look into PhD programs in cultural anthropology within the past few weeks. (Leiden University looks particularly amazing!) I agree with your client about hustle culture. It’s exhausting.
I have enjoyed your videos for years. What I've loved the most is your coverage of the lesser popular countries that I would have never considered before. Now I just feel like wandering from place to place with no agenda other than absorbing the culture. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 I’m so glad to hear that my videos have inspired you to explore lesser-known places and embrace the beauty of wandering without an agenda. Wishing you many amazing adventures ahead! 🌍✨
Heartfelt sentiments for the loss of your beloved dog. One of the most challenging ones to endure imho. I pray your heart heals while you experience the loss. I respect your words and experiences and being plant based, myself, can appreciate the transition with this. The food in US still feels unhealthy and tasteless even still to me while making this choice. I am getting a lot out of your content as I make my way and I pray your path continues to unfold naturally and gently. 🙏🏻
I admire you for finding your niche in the travel "world". What always surprises me is to find videos on RUclips for those who have failed at their dream relocation. I think choosing a relocation country relies more than just watching a video of someone saying Country A is great for relocation and deciding to make that move without even personally confirming it. I travel a lot, having over 75 countries I've stayed at; not just passed through on a layover. I love travel, but have no plans for international relocation...no matter how great my visits go. But I enjoy your video Kristin!
In my travels Kristin (Not as much as you did) and working for an International tourist organization (The Club Med) for three years I learned that a very important factor in life it is emotional stability. During my forties and living in California I also learned that although making a living it is very important, us humans also need to nourish our intellect and get in tune with our soul. Like you, I am fascinating with learning and it has provided me so many benefits (Specially Knowing better our world and our human race) that it is hard to describe. You are a beautiful, decent, honest and a sincere human being Kristin and like you I want to believe in humanity and I refused (In this egotistical world tha we live nowadays) to abandon my sense of compassion and kindness to others. Thank you so much for being who you are!
Wonderful recap of 2024 and vision for the future. As always, love your objectivity, positivity and soulful self discovery. It's motivating. Happy 2025!
As someone that has lived abroad permanently since 1990, I feel your pain with family emergencies. Parents now in their mid 80s, and can be hard to see from far away. Covid scared me since the border to my home country closed.
2024 was rough. So sorry for the loss of the pup. 🐶 we lost our pup May the 4th 2023 and I’m still 😢 over it. Our dear friends just moved to Columbia this past year and are loving it vs Florida. We are looking to visit Columbia in 2025 and start to contemplate where we want to live forever.
I check in on you because you're genuineness filters through. Every stage of our lives is a journey; in this 'day and age' it isn't always the one we formerly had in mind!
Thank you for the personal share. I've followed you on youtube for ages and have always admired your courage and willingness to live in other countries. I too have travelled a lot but have never taken the plunge to actually move to another country. In parts, it's because I don't know where I would want to move to. I feel I belong nowhere but maybe, like you, I belong everywhere! Keep up the great work, Kristin. You inspire me.
Kristin, I always appreciate what you share of the world and yourself. I often share with friends if they want to start looking at traveling more, knowing how to travel and what to expect, that they need to watch your videos and listen to your story. You are the best! Good luck in 2025! I think you would be an amazing guest on on Diary of a CEO-Yes I think how you have combined your life with helping people find a freedom of sorts is truly remarkable. This podcast has is wonderful and I think you would be an amazing guest! 😬🙏 Thank you for making my 2024 better!
Many condolences for the struggles and losses you have been through recently. It is good to share those emotions with your community as we all go through these times in our lives, so no need to hold back on those natural expressions. Yes, “big food” in the United States is atrocious! I am on the carnivore end of the diet spectrum, however, I think a Whole Foods, unprocessed food approach is best for everyone, regardless of whether they choose to eat animal products or not. I tend to see an animal based diet as being ancestrally appropriate for humans, but I think everyone should choose what works best for them. Food is very personal.
Thank you for sharing this part of your life, Kristin. I speak for many here in saying we're honored you trust and care about us enough to do this. Your developing self and life insights are parallel to mine. I hope 2025 brings you much joy, love & light!
I have followed your channel for a while now, and have thoroughly enjoyed your insights into life abroad. Having lived in 7 countries myself and wanting to get back abroad as expat, I have to wait for a few things to pass. I understand your situation. Meanwhile, your videos are my inspiration, and the time will come for me to get going. Have a Happy New Year Kristin!!! Hoping to see/hear more of you.
Thank you so much for your kind words and support @stevemellor7989! It’s great to hear that my videos have been an inspiration to you. Wishing you a Happy New Year as well, and I look forward to sharing more with you in the future. 😊
Really cool update! Thank you for sharing and my heart goes out to you for your losses in 2024. Here is hoping for a better 2025! My wife and I are still figuring out how and when to move overseas and your channel is invaluable. Reading through your first book on audible, and then I'll move on to your second book (congrats on the release!).
Thank you Kristin. You've been helping me prepare for retirement for a couple of years now. So I appreciate all of your videos. BTW, been vegan for 7 years now. Healthier than ever. You can do it! Latin, Thai, Vietnamese, Mediteranean, Indian, etc. Whole food vegan. Only problem with food in Europe is too much bread. lol. BTW, My wife and I are visiting our daughter in Germany for holidays. But we're also hitting Christmas markets in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and Netherlands. I totally get your reasons for wanting to get off of the road. After a few years of being a traveling comedian in the United States, I realized that I needed to find a home base to work from. Became an educator in Tampa 25 years ago. Best life!
Wow, the honesty about moving back to the US and family struggles really hit me. It’s refreshing to hear someone share the challenges of a digital nomad lifestyle.
I'm so sorry to hear about the challenges you've experienced this year, but it sounds like you have some really beautiful experiences too and those are the moments that help us get through the tough times. Love your channel and wishing you great success in 2025!
Thank you so much for your kind words and support! 💙 It’s been a tough year, but I truly appreciate the beautiful moments that make it all worthwhile. Wishing you all the best as well! 🌟😊
Happy New Year, Kristin! Thank you so much for all you do. One of the over-riding themes expressed by contributors and commenters, with which I whole-heartedly agree, is that it's important to be moving to something at least as much as they are moving away from something. In my case, I don't have much time or many opportunities for extended exploratory travel to identify cultures, which may be a good fit for me. And yet, I'm certain that international relocation is going to be necessary, in my near-future. I'm hoping there may be relatively low-cost methods for broadly identifying one's best cultural fits, beyond the basics, e.g., cost of living, healthcare, ease of immigration, etc., to facilitate a workable number for in-depth consideration. Would you recommend any resources of this type, you may be aware of for this purpose, please?
Happy New Year Kristin! Thank you for all the updates! I'm sorry to hear that there were things in the past year which weren't the greatest, but I'm glad you had so many great moments too! Your new book sounds really exciting, and I can sense that you will have a great year! I'm glad that you are trying to do what's best for you. I hope that you will continue to do what you love and what makes you the happiest! I'm excited to see what 2025 has in store for you!
Thank you so much for your kind words and support @DebSittko! It truly means a lot. Here's to continued growth and inspiration in the year ahead. Cheers! 🌟🎉
You have been a fun you tuber to watch thanks. I have travelled a lot around the world ,you have given me knew places to think about. Good Karma your way.
Dear Kristin, you are such a sweet and eloquent speaker. Congratulations on your upcoming book! And also on becoming a vegan! Fellow vegan here for a number of years (and a long-time vegetarian before that.) It’s definitely had a big positive impact on my health. I trust you will notice the same 🙏🩷 Thanks for keeping us in the loop, you Wonder Woman! All the best for 2025! 🎉
Thank you so much for your sweet message! 😊 I really appreciate your support, and I’m excited for what 2025 holds for all of us. Wishing you continued health and happiness! 🙏💖🎉
Thank you for your time the other day. This video for the lovely way to get to know you a little better. Best wishes and I'm looking forward to working with you next year.
I've only lived in Romania the past 7.5 years, but I spent so much time traveling while in the military (both abroad and in 6 places in the US), I completely associate with your first point--not feeling like I'm truly rooted to one place. My perspective on the US has majorly changed (well, the US itself has majorly changed) in my time since retirement and living most of it abroad. I also lost a pet--over 2.5 years ago now--and truthfully, it's still with me. I understand that. I wish you well in this New Year, including some level of peace (if possible) with your family issue.
Hey there, sorry about your pup. And glad you found your new home in my homeland of Romania 😊 I’m a Romanian living in Mexico these days after having lived in Canada for many years. Visited Romania in Summer of 2023 and I was impressed with how much the country had changed for the better over the past 20+ years. While I’m happy living in the beautiful Riviera Maya of Mexico, I could see myself having a second base in beautiful Romania 😊🩷
I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved doggie. I know they are family and that the impact of their loss is immense. I choose to believe your friend and companion remains with you in spirit, as you remain with him. In the photos you share, you are so beautiful together. It’s obvious you shared a bond and kinship. I sympathize very much… -Jeff M
Thank you for your kind and heartfelt words, Jeff. It’s comforting to know that their spirit remains with us, and I truly appreciate the support. Thank you again for sharing your empathy during such a difficult time. 🙏
Refreshing to see & hear you share your vulnerability. I cried with you! 😭 I am so sorry to hear about your family trauma. My heart strings were also pulled as I understand fully the challenges of a long distance relationship.
I only became aware of you within the past year or so and I'm so glad I did. I love your podcast and your videos. I agree that given the volume and variety of travel you've done- and with the intention of helping others travel and/or relocate - it gives you a unique perspective that the majority of people simply don't have. Someday I'll be reaching out to your relocation business, perhaps to help in my own plans! Thanks again for everything you do,
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 I'm so glad you’ve enjoyed the podcast and videos. Whenever you're ready, feel free to reach out about your relocation plans-I'd love to help! 🌍✨ Thanks again for your support! 🙏💙
I am happy for you, Kristin. I remember one of your first videos -- it might have been the first one you did -- and shared it with a lot of loved ones. Since then, my husband Jorge, our happy Golden Retriever Buddy, and I have been living in Querétaro, México, for three years now ... we moved from my hometown of Dallas, Texas, on December 7, 2021. A week from today we will move to a new and lovely rental home here in Querétaro. The owner of the house has given us carte blanche to beautify the back yard however we want. We love yard work! I got my permanent Mexican residency in October. In November Jorge and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary. 🙂 Life is good. ¡Saludos! Joseph Quillian ... in México I'm Pepe. 🙂
What a beautiful journey you've had, Pepe! 😊 Congratulations on your permanent Mexican residency and your 33rd anniversary! 🎉 Thank you so much for sharing this with me-wishing you both continued happiness and success in your new home! ¡Saludos a ti, Jorge, y Buddy! 🐾🌟
Hi Kristin. So happy to see you. Setbacks and impediments are part of life. Don't get bogged down by negativities. Focus on things that make you contented and fulfilled. Happy to know about the latest developments in your life. Professional as well as personal. I love to watch your podcasts as well. And I wish you and family A WONDERFUL AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.! You're gonna rock in 2025!! All the best. And you're looking RAVISHINGLY GORGEOUS.!!😊
Hi Kristin! Thanks for sharing this video. I really relate to your comment about not being tied to one location. I’m an anthropologist who teach at a NY area university, so I’m glad to hear about your interest in anthropology. I spend a significant amount of time travelling doing research. I’m currently considering early retirement from my teaching job to move/travel abroad. What is holding me back is my concern to earn a living while I’m abroad. Im single with no children and I definitely know the US is not for me anymore, especially now. I’m currently purging my stuff with a general plan to make that move. I need a concrete plan to make it all happen, with options for making money to live on before retirement age kicks in. I’ll check out your book! Happy new year to you and your family. Thanks again for giving us free content with reminders that there’s a huge world to explore!
You look amazing, whatever you're doing. The first thing I thought of is some sort of PhD in a traveling field, but I don't know what that would be. Not many people have traveled and lived in so many places as you have and at such a young age so far.
Hi Kristen I love your videos. I've been wanting for many years and you're very inspirational. I'm actually at a point where I was very seriously thinking of moving to Portugal and traveling in Europe but it just isn't working with family and other things so see in this video is refreshing. We are considering moving from the Northeast of Texas to be close to my daughter and travel in the Western United States Canada etc. My point is your videos are inspirational I'm 58 years old and I'm leaving my full-time corporate job in May want to be spending time watching my grandson and spend more time with family and creating my own sort of online content and business etc. I've been in Corp recruiting for 25 years and look forward to the next stage in chapter of my life. Thank you for all your inspiration because your videos have given me enough courage along with other things to take that step and I thank you for all you do. Keep up the great work and we wish you all the best in 2025. God bless
Thank you so much for your heartfelt message! 😊 It means the world to hear that my videos have inspired you as you take this exciting step into a new chapter of your life. Congratulations on making the decision to leave your corporate job and spend more time with your family! 👏 Wishing you all the best in your new endeavors. Thanks again for your kind words, and I wish you a happy, fulfilling 2025 ahead! 🌟🙏
Thank you so much @jlovel124! I’m excited for you to read the book and hope it brings you value. Wishing you a fantastic 2025 as well-Happy New Year! 🎉
YES to video podcasts on the channel. And health is crucial its part of why some of us move to countries where food is less processed and S.A.D. You do have a glow!
We all go through different seasons. I've traveled and lived all over the US for 50 years, down into Mexico and around Europe. The past six years I've been in Europe and I thought Scotland would be my home base as it's my country of origin. I realize at 65 years of age my health can no longer prosper in rainy, damp weather. With that being said a warmer, drier climate along the Mediterranean is where I'm searching for a home base. I understand your diet issues. The American diet is so full of processed foods. I do a pescitarian Mediterranean style diet. I also lost my furry little road warrior. My little Chihuahua was 17 and the demenia and cancer resulted in her being put to sleep three weeks ago. She was my travel buddy. Before her my Golden Retriever who lived to 18.5 yrs. It's hard as that was 32+ years with two dogs claiming my heart. 💔 As for anthropology you could do a self study and/or pick some online classes you enjoy or audit classes in your area. You won't have to take exams but you will still gain the knowledge. Yes, the culture in America has changed to survival. I am now looking for my home base, friendships and having the time for my art and fiction writing that has been an ongoing project. You do look different. You have not just an outer but an inner glow. Just enjoy the moment, refocus, love and be loved by your family and friends. Blessings and Happy New Year. ❤🎉
Very true about the rush in the States. Sometimes it’s enlivening, but most of the time it sucks because it means that hustling for SOME is highly valuable and extremely profitable, and for MOST it is a matter of survival where the stakes are so high that its work or die. That’s no way to live.
It can indeed be draining when the hustle becomes a matter of survival rather than a choice. It's important to find a way to live that feels more sustainable and fulfilling, rather than just working to survive. Take care of yourself @mattk6910 and always prioritize your well-being. 🌿✨
I am sorry to hear you are going through the grieving process. Life is hard sometimes. One aspect of the digital nomad life that doesn't get discussed much is grief. My mentor of 27 years died a couple days ago. Its been pretty rough... Our decisions in life have an effect in the world. How we come to conclusions might be different. Please be kind to yourself and give yourself a break if needed. While I have a void missing, knowing one of the greatest friends I'll ever meet is gone, he would want me to chase my dreams with the most incredible reckless abandon. I highlighted him in my end-of-the-year review.
I'm so sorry for your loss. 💔 Losing someone who has had such a profound impact on your life is incredibly hard. Be gentle with yourself during this time, and remember it’s okay to take a step back when needed. Sending you strength and comfort as you navigate this grief. 🌟💙
Hey Kristen. My dog, Kona and I are both here for whatever comes next for you. She sends here hugs and slobbery wet doggy kisses your way. I find that to be the best way to find joy in life. While also reducing stress and loneliness significantly. All the best in 2025!
Wonderful that you are spending time with your family and your sister‘s new baby. Congratulations on your new book. although I think about living abroad… I know that time with my family and grandchildren is more important. Children grow up really fast as you will see. Keep your mind Open to education. Don’t take on the whole banana, but just pull down peel. Being with other like-minded people and professors that have spent their lives studying anthropology and culture is very stimulating.
Sorry about the loss of your companion. We lost our beloved doggie this year too. 😥 Our government needs to start subsidizing fruits and vegetables rather than corn, but that would open a huge can of worms. If people would focus on eating a wide variety of colors - including more fiber, that by itself would solve a lot of health issues. Blaming gluten seems to be trendy these days.
Hey Kristin! I know you. I met you about 20 years ago in Nosara when you were working for a real estate company. I was on a surf trip and was running around the area with a buddy named Steve, that you were showing some properties to. He ended up buying a surf shop up the road from the beach and I think he's still there. I, by complete chance, stumbled across your "why people leave Costa Rica" video. I met you one or two days that trip and can't believe I even remembered you. I couldn't find a way to message you, and I feel weird typing this all out here, but it felt like I had to tell you this. You and Steve and I all went our own ways I presume, but we all met at a time when we were trying to come to terms with life's challenges. I wanted so bad to quit my job and move to Costa Rica but I stuck it out and finally got to retire. I've fantasized about moving to CR for the last 20 years. It kept me going. And now that I have the chance to do whatever I want, I don't even care to visit there anymore. It's so not what it was. Sadly, we ruined it I think. Sorry for the crazy comment on your video. Best wishes to you!! Andy 🙂🙃😊
There is a lot of sheep-like mentality online, so many people want to listen to the podcasts that "everyone else" is listening to online. It's sad, but true, and quite natural for those under the age of 30. I'm sorry about the traumatic event your family experienced with one of your loved ones. I hope you can all heal together. Losing a beloved pet is never easy, either. That kind of grief can last a lifetime, even if it does get easier to deal with it over time. In my experience, even after 30 years, it never goes away completely, it just doesn't come up as often. Wishing the best for you in 2025, no matter what you decide or where you end up~ P.S. Getting a PhD is no freakin' joke. It's a long, time-intensive, reading-intensive process and it locks you down for a good 10 years, mostly in one or two locations, maybe 3 if you're fortunate.
You made good choices along the way and now you are pausing to re calibrate according to your wisdom, experience, hopes and dreams. We can't see into the future let alone engineer it. Follow your heart and intuition. Kristin you have no obligations to your followers as you have already given them a gift. Best of luck in your relationship. One final thing- I have traveled almost constantly during my 69 years and while it has enriched me however, I feel I do not belong in any one place. Its not a regret but travel has, like all education- a cost.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and wise words. 🌟 Wishing you continued wisdom and fulfillment on your own journey, and thank you for being so supportive! 🌍💙
Thank you - I’m reading comments here and ‘me too,’ - at 64 - not sure where I belong. Even after raising 2 (now traveler kids) the adventures of travel have led to a dispersed family of independent travelers and a sense of rootlessness.
Sweet summary of 2024 for you and plans for 2025. I really enjoy your perspectives on life and travel as a young person. I missed the opportunities but fit a bit of travel in between kids, work and daily living so all is good. It was a decent balance considering. You have roamed long and often in your young life so maybe you will experience a homeness segment of life in the foreseeable future? Best of luck to you next year...😊
I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your dog. I often describe many USA foods as laboratory modified. It appears that the FDA is more concerned about corporate profits than the citizen's health. Have a happy New Years.
Thank you for your kind words and understanding. It's definitely a challenging time, but I appreciate the support. Wishing you a Happy New Year filled with good health and positive experiences!
Definitely buying your book. I'm still several years away from retirement but I want to collect all the info I can in the meantime. Thank you for being you!
I admire your journey. My goal is to have flexibility with where i can live and live simply so i don't have to work myself to death. Thanks for all you have shared with us this year❤🙏🏾
Thank you so much for your kind words! I completely agree with your goal of finding flexibility and simplicity in life. Wishing you all the best on your journey-here's to a wonderful 2025! 🙏🏾❤️
Vegan - YAY!!! You really get thrown into a different world and learn about things you never thought/new, most of which is shocking and heart breaking. Happy to hear you have been open to learning, and open to change :)
Thank you Kristen! Love your videos! Happy New Year! Would love to know what your latest favorite countries are.. are they still the same as in your video or any new ?
@12:01 Any chance to eat OUTSIDE the U.S. I always prefer... "inferior", absolutely YES! I was informed that in Italy the pasta is definitely digestible! 👌🏻 18:27 Work-life balance is important! MAYBE you can show us some of the foods you found interesting while abroad, if not more nutritious!
Kristen well i am retired for 1 year now. I have no problem not working. I moved out of an expensive state (California), to a more affordable state(Ohio). I wish i had fone it sooner. So many famous people have been from Ohio. On the flight here i met a football player with his frenchie dog. We had a warm conversation. If you saw us, you would never imagine that we would have so much to share and so much in comon. I have traveled alot since being 18 and living in Morelia, Mexico with my family. I learned Spanish and got to know all of them better.
Also I love and appreciate my country U.S. I don't feel the need to leave it. Yes it has it's problems, but I listen to news from around the world, and our economy is doing much better than so many. By moving out of an expensive state, I have bought 4 houses so far. I could have never done that in California. Every day I wake up I say thank you God and the angels for protecting me so I can continue on this journey.
Really curious to hear what’s next for you! 🙌 How has this new direction impacted your day-to-day life? And do you feel like it’s bringing you closer to your goals, or are you still figuring things out along the way? Excited to follow your journey!
Thank you for your curiosity and excitement! This new direction has definitely had a significant impact on my daily life, bringing more focus and purpose. The journey has been a mix of planning and adapting. I’m excited to see where it leads. Thanks for following along-I'll be sharing more updates soon @globalretirementus!

Look it up!
I’m vegan too! Is it possible to eat well as a vegan abroad?
Don’t ever apologize for showing emotions. It’s so important to acknowledge how things impact you. And it helps your community connect to you. Thank you for showing your heart and being willing to share those raw feelings. More people need to be like this. We are all here for you giving you a virtual hug and cheering you on.
Thank you so much for your understanding and kind words. Your virtual hug means the world to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for your support. We’re all in this together, and I appreciate you being part of this journey! 💖
So well said,@@NicoleT-d7k so important to support authenticity and willingness to be vulnerable. Thanks for sharing your comment.
I watch a lot of your videos. At age 78 I don't travel much but I can almost travel with your videos. Good job !
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy them!
I feel the same way. Watching you is "a trip" 😂
Ditto. ❤
Sorry for your loss and family hardships❤️
So happy for you with your relationship! You are such an inspiration!
@@TravelingwithKristin Thank you 💜
I just found your channel and subscribed, Kristen.
"Eight Weeks To Optimum Health" is a treasure!
Thank you so much, William! It’s great to hear from you, and I truly appreciate your support and kind words. 😊
I just saw on Law&Crime channel they are asking people in the US who have diabetes or fatty liver disease to contact a particular law firm who have opened a class action law suit against food companies in the US who make and sell highly processed foods. I wish them all the best.
Great idea. The powers that be will fight it tooth and nail, but a great start!

Thank you for being so thoughtful! It means a lot to hear you say that. 😊
You are my friend , you have been so inspirational. I love what you have to tell us. Your approach is so natural and informative.
I recently discovered you. Perfect timing. Thank you for your gifts.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt words! I'm truly grateful to have connected with you and to be part of your journey! 🌟😊
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! I’m glad you’re enjoying my videos. 😊 Safe travels on all your future adventures!
Thank you so much for your kind words, it means a lot to me @louaceveu1925😊!
Wonderful recap of 2024 and vision for the future. As always, love your objectivity, positivity and soulful self discovery. It's motivating. Happy 2025!
Thank you so much for your support!
💛
I check in on you because you're genuineness filters through.
Every stage of our lives is a journey; in this 'day and age' it isn't always the one we formerly had in mind!
Thank you for your lovely comment :)
That's so kind of you! I appreciate it! 🙏
Thanks for the update! Love following your journey no matter where it takes you.
Thank you Kevin! I hope our travels cross paths someday soon!
Thank you so much, David. I'm glad you're here! I would love to be on Diary of a CEO someday 😃
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate your kind words @linda99.
I recommend everyone to find the book titled The Gilded Nexus of Prosperity, it changed my life.
I'll buy you dinner for this recommendation
Intrigued. Thanks!
Thanks so much for the kind words and support @robertpeterson1497! 🙏
Thank you for your thoughtful response! 😊
Thanks!
Wow - thank you Jose! 💓💓 This is very kind of you. I’m glad the video was helpful!
You come across as being very sincere and genuine.
Thank you so much @houseofroos! 🙏
Happy New Year, Scott! 🎉🎉 I’m so happy you’re part of my team. 😊 Cheers to more travels in 2025!

Thanks for your comment. ❤️ Where did you live in Romania? Sorry for your loss 😔
Thank you so much for understanding, it means a lot.😊
AS ALWAYS, thanks so MUCH for your valuable insight and mostly, your honesty. Best of luck and a VERY happy, healthy and prosperous new year!
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 Wishing you a wonderful, happy, and prosperous New Year as well! 🌟🎉 Here's to a great 2025 ahead! 💙

Thank you so much for your kind words and support! 💖
Thank you for the kind words, David. 🙏
Good video. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you too!
Thank you so much! I hope you have a wonderful New Year too @dianegriffith3006!
As for anthropology you could do a self study and/or pick some online classes you enjoy or audit classes in your area.
Thank you for sharing! Best wishes to you and your family 🙏🙏🙏
You're very welcome! Thank you for your kind wishes @shawncooley5194. Wishing you and your loved ones all the best as well! 🙏🎉
Aww, thank you so much for the love from you and Kona! 🐾❤️ Wishing you and Kona all the happiness and joy in 2025! 🐶🌟
Great video and you are doing an amazing job!
Thank you so much @Kswift47!
Thank you Karin! 💖 Great thoughts on education and family 😊
Best wishes and Happy New Year.
Thank you! Happy New Year to you too!
Great to hear your latest update, K! Happy New Year to you, your family, and your entire orbit down there (and around the world.) 👍🏽
Thank you so much @greggraham2476! Wishing you and your loved ones a fantastic New Year filled with joy, adventure, and wonderful moments. 🌟🎉🌍
Wishing the best for you in 2025, no matter what you decide or where you end up~
I been watching your videos since the pandemic. Your lifestyle is very desirable. this is the first time I have made a comment.
Thank you for all the support 🙏🙂
I'm so sorry for your loss of your dog. That's so traumatic. 😢
Lovely video Kristin. Your vegan diet and love in your life is great, you look absolutely fabulous. Good luck in 2025, Happy New Year
Best Wishes for 2025!
Thank you! Wishing you all the best in 2025 as well! May it be filled with happiness, growth, and new adventures! 🌟🎉
Happy New Year Kristin! Wishing you all that's happy and good in 2025🦋🌸💚

Best of luck to you next year...😊
Thanks so much! I appreciate your kind words. 😊
At 01, interesting way to start the video. Thanks for the video. Good luck with the relationship
Thank you! 🙌
Thank you so much for your support! Wishing you the best on your journey to retirement @Nunya37! 😊

Vegan - YAY!!! You really get thrown into a different world and learn about things you never thought/new, most of which is shocking and heart breaking. Happy to hear you have been open to learning, and open to change :)
It's definitely been a journey of learning and compassion, and I'm glad you're excited about this change!

Great video! Thanks for sharing!

Sorry for your sadness this year. I hope you don’t feel you HAVE to keep traveling just for us. Things change. We get that.
Every day I wake up I say thank you God and the angels for protecting me so I can continue on this journey.
great video as always. Def will be getting your book soon
Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy it! 😊
