  • Let’s make traditional market-style Korean fried chicken! This is the kind of chicken you find in Korean open air markets. It’s super crispy and delicately crunchy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. Full recipe: www.maangchi.c...

While my husband and I visit family in Seoul, we would walk around late at night and buy a whole fried market chicken to take home and eat! They cut it in fours and put it in a paper bag, it was our favorite meal!

    My favorite place for korean fried chicken is a spot in Newport News, VA called ChicnFish. I've missed going there so much since I've moved overseas and now to the midwest but your videos make me think I can try and make it myself!!
    Thank you, Maangchi!

    I loooove fried chicken ! 🍗 Thanks for sharing your recipe
    First time I see frying the whole chicken, which is actually a good idea ! When I do it, I usually split the parts before frying

    • @TanjaHermann
      @TanjaHermann 5 лет назад

      I was actually wondering what the advantage is of frying the whole chicken half instead of cutting it into more manageable pieces that fry more quickly? the cutting the chicken while inside the hot oil was scary to me.

    • @anubagchi1436
      @anubagchi1436 4 года назад

      Tanja Hermann it keeps the chicken super super juicy and it’s harder to dry the chicken out. I’ve always fried my chicken this way.

      The Vietnamese subtitle is not only accurate but also very natural to read as well. A big too colloquial at times, but good job!
