Best advice I can give to anybody interested in digging. Go to any specialized record store and just spend all your time on second hand vinyls. The stuff people bring in and trade is insane, best music I ever picked was from the second hand section, be that Detroit, Paris, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Moscow you name it
Amazing tip!! Thanks for sharing man 💙
@@distillednoise My pleasure! Needless to say, at Yoyaku's first store I roughly bought 3-4 old vinyls for the price of a new release. No brainer if you want to quickly fill your crate with vintage bangers from the 90s and early 00s that people as you say missed back in those days. Word of warning though, you end up listening 98% of the time to absolute poop, you will question your life choices, your sanity and love for the music, but just as you are about to go desperate after a stack of 30-40-50-60 shit records, the one pops out. The one that makes you throw moves at the store while looking stupid :D those are the records you need in your life
Top tier stuff 💪
I was just looking for a video like this a couple days ago, thanks man!
Glad it helped man!!
Just joined the patreon, been a fan of the channel for a while, really enjoying the content my guy!
Thank you my friend ❤️
Great tips, thank you!
Thank you!!
🔥🔥
Thanks, I also use Shazam when hearing Dj sets and then I go to Beatport to check Bpm and which note :-)
BANDCAMP!!!!!
Definitely one of the best options 👌
Also, listening to lots of mixes, and searching out any tracks that stand out.
Awesome video, if you can make more videos about the drums and how to make that groove such as Alci or Triptil could be great!
Thank, i will make more videos in the future!
My Friend, I know it may seem out of place. But I saw that a while ago you uploaded a video with Digitakt and then I didn't see that you had done more. I just wanted to know if you still have it because I'm still in the trial period for mine and if not I have to return it. For some reason I always end up with Ableton's Drum Rack and I want to convince myself to keep it but I'm not too sure. Is it possible that you are not using them either?
Dear Nakir, i sold it few years ago, cause i couldn’t find my workflow as well :( sometimes i miss it, but im still sure it was a good decision to sell it
What do you think about DJs that are protective/possessive of their music? I find it pretty douchey
I didn't mention that topic on purpose but i think that it depends. When it's new music that just came out i think it's fair to share the name cause it also helps the artist. If it's old music that i spent hours digging and that it's something particular that could help me stand out among the other djs for my taste in selection, well in that case i think everybody should invest it's time and do his own researches.
What about traxsource man ?
Yes for sure another good place to look into!!
