    Oh yeah I have hit clover plots with gly in late summer then sowed brassicas into them the gly sets the clover back and let’s the brassicas sprout and get going but the clover comes back and I get fall plots with both in

      Works great! I will sow oats and rye grain and maybe some annual clover in mid-sept and then mow over it one last time

      @@brucenellis2780 someone told me the weeds will build up resistance overtime because of the low dose. Curious if I encounter that. This last time I sprayed IMOX and cleth like I’m supposed to and that worked really well again.

    I had a crimson clover cover crop that I sprayed with 2 ounces per gallon glyphosate to get ready for brassica. I sprayed twice and the clover was still there. Clover is more resistant to glyphosate than people think .

      Oh wow ! Yea I think it is. Now that you mention it, I sprayed a dove field at 2 ounces to the gallon and the clover was still there. I forgot about that.

    Glyphosate isn't near as good of an herbicide as most people believe. It needs to be mixed with something else like dicamba, 2,4D, triclopyr, etc. to be effective. Glyphosate can be use as a cheap growth regulator on turfgrass as well, just have to mind the rate.

      Agreed, I do a lot of testing in my plots. I’m actually dropping a video next of a combination of IMOX and cleth in this plot

    I find that glyphosate kills everything but the leguminous plants. They all look sick when they are sprayed, their seedlings will die but established plants will nearly all come back from the roots.

      I don’t seem to get lasting result with gly, IMOX however lasted a lot longer

    I'm going micro clover in my yard and I'm planning to use 2-4-DB and Clethodim.

      Cleth will kill grass! You said yard, i assume it’s turf grass ?

      @@Yellowlab247_NC_Outdoors I will leave out the clethodim. I'm going to a fescue/clover mix seed. I want all the crab grass gone which Is why i was going to use Cleth.

      @@Yellowlab247_NC_Outdoors From what I've been reading 2-4-DB is the bets option so I'm going that route.

      @Yellowlab247_NC_Outdoors  6 месяцев назад

      Yes, 2,4,DB is great for clover. For the crabgrass, you might could go with a pre-emergent, just not sure if any are labeled for crabgrass and not for clover. Little tricky there. Good luck!@@limitlesschoices

    Basically no. Unless it is super concentrated. I have literally tried killing clover with round up and 24d in my yard it will just not die.

      2-4D did not kill the clover in my lawn but took out the dandelions. I only use Clethodim and mowing on my food plots. A few weeds don't bother me there, deer eat them too.

    My clover is taken over by ragweed bad. Hit it with a full dose of glyphosate (2 quarts per acre) 2 days ago and seeding some more clover into it today with storm in the forecast. Will probably kill most of the clover but had to do somethin

      You can use Imazamox to help supress Ragweed and it wont kill the clover! 4-5 oz per acre. Check out my other video on it! Video link
