This match was an all guns blazing battle. 2012 was probably the last year when each of the Big Four was in great form and each won one Slam too.

Well it's the only year during which each of them won a slam, which doesn't mean at all that it was the only true big3/4 year. There were other strong years and some slightly weaker years too, even before 2012. For example in 2010, Rafa was amazing and Murray was in very good form but Djoko was pretty much shit and Federer was below his standards.

im a die hard fan of Roger I loved the way how he just dominated Nadal with his intensity and way of beating the ball ofcourse I love Nadal as well he will never give up easily in any match that's the spirit I admire in him the most we are lucky to witness their era they are best friends best rivals and will always remain as greatest of all time ❤❤❤

This was the match that made me a bonafide Federer fan instead of the casual observer I had been up until that point. I couldn't understand how someone so gushing in talent didn't always beat Nadal and through my investigating why I became fascinated in tennis.
Glimpse of 2017 backhand during some of the points from Roger...Everyone thought this condition would suit rafa but Roger blew him off the court...He was very aggressive in the toughest of conditions and still came out on top..That's TRUE GREATNESS ..This match was like the 2019 RG windy match

Roger was never a slouch in windy conditions. There is a reason he won the USO 5 times on the trot. Arthur Ashe can be extremely gusty. And especially given the relatively lower margin of error on his groundstrokes, it is a testament to his balance and hand eye coordination that he can still play like this and win.
Agassi jokingly said "shank you very much" before his match against Federer in the US Open, implying that the wind might affect Roger's shots. However, he got the beating of his life later that day 😂
100% Federer was incredible to be able to win so much in those conditions while taking the ball so early with that small racket. Best I’ve seen.
