My name is mayank. In this video I will share my experience of owning the Maruti Suzuki Ignis Alpha. The ignis has a powerful 1.2 litre 4 cylinder engine that is sufficient and zippy both inside the city and out on the highway.

September mai ignis purchase ki hai, car chalana bhi issi se sikha hai. City mai 15 ka avg, highway per 21 ka avg hai with the speed of 80km/hr. Very nice car.

Own Ignis 2018 & completed 44000 km till date. Everything is great about it but the stiffness of suspension is pain. In speed breakers and potholes, the cars gives a strong jerk as there is no suspension at all. 1.2 l na engine is why I got it.
Yes sir the engine is really powerful silent and responsive. The suspension might be a little stiff but is strong. I generally do not slow down on bad patches, where cars like swift or Ciaz need to slow down
Potholes at high speeds are felt harshly
Is there a way to change the shockers in ignis? Apart from its shockers i love this car

I suggest you to upgrade tyres to 185/65/R15 ,this worked for me, the ride is cushioned and smoother now.

The prices of used vars are prety high in South, even a Ritz zxi 2014 68000 km second owner is quoted for 3.25 - 3.50 lakhs (excluding state transfer cost)
Should I go with a Ignis 2018 detla variant 80000 km single owner (mostly lady driven) . The price quoted is 3.70 lakhs (excluding state transfer cost)
How is the overall structural quality of the car, I hope its better than a 3rd gen swift, alto or wagon R. Should I prefer some other cars for lesser price. A 2012 Hyundai i10 is priced around 2.50 lakhs and a 2014 Grand i10 sportz is atleast prices around 3.25 lakhs.
Xan etios liva petrol GX 2017 70,000 km second owner be considered for 3.80 lakhs (excluding state transfer cost)
Let me know your thoughts or do suggest if there are any better options, since I am new driver would like to prefer compact cars.

No sir no problem ever. Just touch the button once and it starts and stops. No hang or miss till date. Update: car will turn 5 yrs old in few months

Bhai bohot easy and zippy hai chowk ke liye. Oochi hai toh paani jama ho sadak pe toh bhi dikkat nahi. Chote mote ghaddo ke oopar se aram se le jaiye bina dikkat. Aur parking bahut hi Asaan aur quick hai.

Hi. Did you face the steering return back issue? I suppose this was there in the BS4 version.
The steering returns back like normal. I haven't faced any such issue.

Sir gear indicator toh meri alpha me bhi nahi jo top model hai. Bas ye batata hai ki gear kab change karna hai. Shift up karna hai, ya down, ye batata hai bas choti si arrow se. Kaunse gear pe hai ye nai batata. Sir please subscribe and support 🙏

Thoda hard hai, high speeds pe pata nahi chalta. Slow speed me thoda feel hota hai, lekin aisa nahi ki jaan hi nikal jaye. Stable hai setup

Il give ignis more marks. The wagon r 1.2 felt less stable than ignis on highways. Ignis is sportier, wagon r is more city like.

@@CarTalksWithMayank completely agree with what you say about Wagon R. i stumble upon this video while looking for user review of Ignis.. as I am planning to buy one hatchback mainly for city ride . Thinking about Automatic version what do you have to say about that ?
Automatic is amt. Where you will get a rubber band effect everytime the car changes gears.
So if you are not into rough overtakes or fast driving, then amt will be a convenient option for you, specially city drives will be comfortable as one hand and one leg shall always be at rest. But then amt, I won't suggest for enthusiasts. You can always switch to manual mode in amt if you want to keep the powerband in ur hand.

Ignis is a great and solid buy 👌
Ignis front seat is way more comfortable than it's competition. As the seats are broad, the dashboard is high and flat (broad aswell), and you sit higher giving you better command and zippy feel.
I go to office daily in my ignis, the ride is silent, powerful, spacious and can doge bad roads easily without slowing down.
My ac is still strong and chilled within seconds. And automatic climate control is a blessing

Le sakte hain to be safer. Agar koi mehenga part kharab ho jata hai by chance, toh faida hoga. Waise koi part kharab ho uske chances kaafi kam hai agar aap regular service karaye toh.

Yes. If you compare it with the latest tata punch, ignis has a way smoother, refined and silent engine. It has a good safety rating of 3 stars which is decent. The best part is, ignis owners are unique. Stand out in the crowd

Very honest review, brother. Some people say that the steering too lite, not communicative does not give good feedback. What do you say?
Sir I disagree. Ignis steering wheel is not on the light side. It gives you enough feedback, and is definitely heavier than baleno or i20. It has enough feedback on slow speeds and is sportier at higher speeds. If someone says it's light enough to lack feedback, then I disagree

4 adult people with 1 kid is it comfortable leg space? In long journey?
Yes. Have done Nepal trip, uttrakhand trip, delhi trips, odisha trips with family. No one was tired. Ac also works like luxury cars. Cabin is also silent
Can 3 adults sit on rear seat for long trips.
3 slim adults. Best suited for 2 adults sir. Even For 2 heavy adults it's very comfortable, but if it's 3, slim people will be easy. But I don't suggest very long trips of 500+ kms in a day with 3 adults

If you have habbit of sitting in standing car with ac and engine on, then mielage shown will be lesser. When I sit in parked car with ac on for say 30 mins, for eating Streetfood etc then definitely it will show less mielage because petrol is consumed but kms not increasing.
Brother, i am planning to take ignis zeta AMT version and this is my first car. Please give your opinion on the same. Or should i have any better alternatives?
Amt will give you comfortable driving, but amt is considered as the most basic and least advances in automatic transmissions. You will feel a rubber band effect every time the gear changes. If you are ok with that, then it is an amazing deal with no flaws. Go for it. You will love it. Can go anywhere because of good ground clearance and power.
@@CarTalksWithMayank i have already driven my friends Ignis AMT and i am very happy with its performance. The rubber band effect is only noticeable in the lower gear shifts and i am okay with that. I have researched a lot an found ignis is the best vfm car with AMT in budget below 8 lakhs. Thank you for your reply brother.

Sir mera jo model hai, usme automatic climate control hai. Aap bhayankar dhoop me bhi ac ko 18 pe nahi chala payenge, kyuki thand se halat kharab kar deta hai.
Agar short me kahein toh bahut effective aur chilling.
Mere ko 4 yrs ho gaye, abhi tak gas refill ka socha tak nahi kyuki day 1 jaisa chalta hai.
Bas har service me cabin filter change kaa lijiyega ....

Maruti petrol engine is one of the best. People have driven with proper maintenance more than 2 lakhs km.

Has anyone faced braking issues in ignis bS6 like Hard brake paddle ? My ignis is new driven about 5000 km and once while going down hill the brake paddle got hard and had to use emergency brake. After that when i started the car the brake was working fine. I took the car immediately to service and Even the service center guys were not able to tell anything ...
The same happend with me in Nepal. The solution is while going downhill keep the car in gear and not neutral. I had the exact same issue
@@CarTalksWithMayank the car was in 1 st gear that is y it could be controlled. But the thing is i had just started the car and began my journey. It happened after 5 mins . The brake was working fine when the car was started and the brake paddle got hard just after 5 mins. And when starting the car again after stopping the car using emergency brake the brakes were working fine.
I mean to say is it a issue in ignis?
Did u visit the service center ? Did they say anything ..?
It could be because of overheating of the brakes disks

Yes sir... I am from lucknow, when I did 170+ on expressway, it was even new for me.... and trust me it was stable beyond expectations. Some youtubers have posted doing 180kmph on express way....

Neechi gaadi me mere parents ko bohot problem hoti thi.
Isme bina jhukey andar bahar hota hai.
Aap le lijiye bohot khush rahenge, maintenence free gaadi hai. 30,000 km wali service only 3900 me karai from showroom

Marginally lighter than the baleno. In the ignis the sitting position Is higher and more upright making it zipper in traffic

@@hmd78951 ac zabardast. Space mast. Ground clearance super 👌 power amazing . Mielage satisfying. Only the suspension is a little hard on rough and bad roads. But it handles them very nicely. You can watch videos of Ignis driving on snow of himachal. Even I was surprised.
