This helps me to restore my late grandfather's quadrunner. Thanks a lot mate!
Absolutely. Happy to help. Let us know if there is anything else you need! www.midnebraskamotorsports.com/
Also little bit of knowledge from my understanding, is that the Suzuki SHOE HOLD DOWN SPRING (that most aftermarket kits don't come with) is designed to stop the brakes expanding to much by holding the lever arm by spring clip so you don't ruin your wheel cylinders if they get too low (like mine did and you have to buy repair kit or replace them which is expensive)
Good job. Great video. A little knowledge for you bolt size are not designated by the socket size you use on them but the diameter of the threaded portion of the bolt. But that is nice that you gave the socket size for each.
Agreed with bolt size. My though process is majority of people want to know socket size not bolt size. If people had a strong opinion, I'd switch to real bolt size. Let me know what you think. Great video
Thanks for the comment. Have you watched our countless other Quadrunner videos? ruclips.net/video/2eAOoTaxFbQ/видео.html
Hey thanks for this great video. Do you have one for the rear brakes? I can’t tell if mine need to be replaced or adjusted but I can’t figure out how!
You mentioned you posted a vid on how to bleed the brakes. I can't seem to find it? Thanks
Good vocals and info but you didn't replace the shoes. I got what I need from pausing the vid but more detail on those tricky auto tensioners would have been benefitial. Thanks for the help.
Thank you so much for making these videos! They are very helpful. Do you have a Instagram I can follow?
its s a good video
Do you know where a person could find u joints for a 1988 2 wheel drive quad runner?
umm what replacement that was removal, now cannot get the dam hub back on
Yep, I was showing you how to replace if needed. Mine were just fine!! They can get a bear getting back on. Occasionally you need to compress the shoes and once the hub is on you can expand them again. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!!
How easy is it to replace the cylinder (what pushes the shoes out)? My handle on the master cylinder is stiff and when I do get it to squeeze it locks the front wheels
I'm dealing with the exact same problem. I took mine off and used a pipe wrench to work the steel insert out of the cylinder. Then I sanded it up and cleaned all the rust off. Really hope the cylinder still works since I can't find new ones anywhere in the world.
I accidently may have just found a cylinder that still works. 54540-19B10. It's a gamble but that the new model of suzuki and it looks the same.
@@Sides580 I actually ordered one off Amazon, if it works I’ll come back and link it. It was $11
What year was this
