The dance at the end was perfection. The way Blitzø genuinely listens to Stolas and his needs at the start really shows the character growth in him. And you can tell how emotionally drained Stolas is at the end. I can't wait to see where they take them both next season.

And this is all without thinking if she wants kids and had a discussion with Moxxie about it and finally the social and financial position the M&M have cuz we saw the healthcare system so even if she has or not the baby, it would cost a lot of money and time she may not even have, this is all to say it is a VERY UNDERSTANTABLE reaction to this
Yeah but upon your first watch through even when you catch those little details, (like I did when I first watched), it can still be shocking. My jaw dropped and hung open for about two minutes. I know it’s possible for Hellborn citizens such as imps to get pregnant, but I didn’t think we’d actually see it happen in the show, so the fact one of our main characters is pregnant is quite shocking.
I appreciate you defended Octavia’s perception of Stolas. It’s easy to miss why she is so hurt and I feel like a lot of people treat her anger at Stolas as invalid because we spend so much more time with Stolas’ feelings.

As someone in her 20's who's going through something similar to Via, everyone's reactions have really been pissing me off lmao. Stolas was willing to DIE for Blitz and Via knows that. I wouldn't wanna talk to my dad after that either
right? I've seen so many reactions where they bash her and get angry at her, when everything she's upset about technically happened to some degree. Like, yes, although it was the right thing to do, Stolas did technically leave her for Blitz, and he did stay miserable for her, not because she was an obligation, but because he loves her and wanted to give her the best life he could. She's a sheltered kid who doesn't seem to have much experience outside the castle and has had her mother whispering in her ear her entire life, her world is so small and she still needs her dad, she's only 17, so to see some people literally getting as angry at Octavia as they do with Stella, using a lot of expletives and not-so-nice suggestions that i'm not sure i can put here without getting my comment hidden by youtube, when the two aren't even comparable is just a major ick
Don't forget octavia is also still a teenager. So what she sees and knows is what her parents do tell her. Stolas didn’t tell her the full reason for his affaire and her mother doesn't talk to her about anything so the way octavia sees it no matter how many times stolas says he loves her she sees it as they were miserable together and her being born made things worse.
I feel that reason is only applicable if she was willing to hear information from either of them. She’s choosing not to gain any kind of understanding about it even when that’s offered to her 🤷♂️ She’s an angry teen at the moment who wants to be mad at him. She said herself that she doesn’t want to know more, even when she was asking questions that she doesn’t want the answers to. I guess she just needs time to let the anger fade and then hopefully one day she will reach out or let Stolas make contact.

The reason that she doesn't want to know more is probably because it would break her even worse to know that her entire life with her parents was basically a lie. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest when I saw Millie's pregnancy test. I have saddened fear that she won't want to go through with it. Honestly, gotta give credit to the show for displaying that pregnancy isn't always a joyous thing.

@cece03102 A lot of people are theorizing that Millie might have cheated. I don't believe it one little bit. There are various other potential reasons for her being unhappy about it. She and Moxxie aren't exactly in the greatest financial position. Their line of work is the furthest thing from manageable for a child to come into the picture. It's also possible that Millie may have just never planned for this to happen.
Something somebody pointed out in episode 2 is that Via says she was happy “When my parents didn’t hate each other”… she had no clue the marriage was arranged. She portably didn’t even know her dad was gay until the affair started. That also means Stella and Stolas at least PRETENDED to get along for a little while at least

He had to explain that he and her mother were forced to marry, that their relationship was never happy and that none of this was Via's fault. But, as we saw in LooLooLand, his lack of communication always prevented him to do it: Octavia needed an explanation, not words and promises. He have always posponed and now It could be really late.

It’s real tragic Octavia renounced her own father Stolas, but she didn’t get the full picture of it. She only assumed things with all the daily drama between her parents, the affair with Blitz, and upon finding her dad’s hidden stash of antidepressants. Hope Octi sees through all the BS her mother’s been spouting. We’ve already seen families being torn apart before this one in Helluva, like for Blitz and his sister Barb. She wants nothing to do with him, but that I feel is a long shot (compared to Octi) if he ever runs into her again.

The thing is that, even if he is a parent, he is still allowed to try to save the life of someone he loves? Blitz put his life on the line as well to save those he loves, and also risks his life (and Loona’s) in their line of work. It just feels like a weird stance to take if Octavia is like “you should have let him die because you love me”. She’s not a child, she’s nearly 18, and the issue is that currently she is determined not to learn the answers to the questions she was asking him.

It's also the main reason why l fell in love with this show in the first place. It's the people who put so much work in every episode and you can just see it after watching each of them. They clearly love this show and the fans and why l'm glad to have discovered this series. Helluva Boss has always been the first indie show l've watched and remains my top 1 favorite indies series. Season 2 has been an incredible journey and l can't wait for what season 3 has in store❤
Most people are against Octavia for what she did but honestly I’m here for it. Watching her tear into him at the end I was just eating it up like yes girl let it out live your best life, rage. Would love to see more angsty Olivia in the future.
I'm sure somebody else has said it but I imagine especially given how close they got last episode to being railroaded into a death sentence just for being imps who strive to better their place in life, Millie might be worried or scared about having a kid into that society. I imagine the trauma of last episode probably reinforced the uncertainties she was dealing with when she was first working for IMP and all of that plus the general stress of an unexpected first time pregnancy is probably a massive weight on her shoulders.
I love Andrealphus as a villain… he just absolutely steals the scene when he’s on screen. That said, Stolas dealing him a major beat down that left him whimpering was the most satisfying and hilarious thing ever 😂
I’m so worried about the Millie plot line next season.. whether she decides to keep the baby or not, I really hope the writes will do her justice, as I generally hate the pregnancy trope. Well, I think Millie is upset because she's worried about not providing enough for the baby and she, Moxxie and the rest of the gang nearly DIED TWICE! So of course she's worried. I hope Octavia can get away from that toxic situation!
I think the reason Millie is sad/worried at the end is because her and Moxxie don't have much money, as explored in "Ghost Fu*ckers" with Moxxie worrying about paying rent. I imagine that Moxxie will be anxious too, since kids are expensive af.
Millie's plot twist is what shocked me the most from this episode. Like, I've always wondered if M&M would have kids, but no way thought the writers would go there, bc I wasn't sure what that would bring to the storyline, but obviously they have a plan!! But I'm worried why she seemed so upset and didn't tell Moxxie. I've heard so many things like "It's not Moxxie's" or "She's been pregnant before but didn't go right", but honestly, the only logical explanation I agree with is "She loves her work, but she's going to have to give that up, and she understand that Moxxie didn't have the best dad, so what if she's worried he'll worry about that too?" It is literally open for discussion, but I'm rlly interested to see where that storyline goes now. I wonder if the shorts in between the long wait for the 15 EPISODED S3 will show more about Millie's situation, unless they're holding back on that for s3.
I really don't blame Octavia for being mad at stolas. If he had confronted his problems and divorced Stella years ago he wouldn't have needed to save blitz to begin with. Staying for Octavia doesn't really make sense when she has to grow up in an abusive household
The thing is that Stolas was the one taking all the abuse, not Octavia. Granted, Octavia grew up in a tumultuous household but unfortunately some fathers stay in marriages where they are abused because it just seems like the right thing to do at the time. Since Octavia says that neither of them were good enough for him and is unwilling to listen to any explanations, I have a feeling that she wouldn’t have been happy no matter when he initiated the divorce. Perhaps if it had happened in her childhood, she would have ended up with Stella and be even more against him. Who knows.
Millie isn't ready to settle down and become a mama. So she's thinking about getting rid of the baby before Moxxie finds out. She loves her job and doesn't want to give it up. Having a lot of younger siblings, she knows a baby is a full-time commitment.
Whats crazy is that this is the episode that hits me the most because my dad wants a divorce because he found another woman and another love that is more important that his duties as a father. Unfortunately my father is not Stolas. My mom is Stolas, and my had is becoming Stella. And Via's song hits me so hard. And Via has become my comfort character now so I can deal with this whole mess my dad is putting my family through.
I haven't seen an animated character be this indirectly hurt and jealous of a bio family member's romantic relationship since Jinx and Vi. Even did the 'seeing them with a malicious expression they never actually used' thing like when she saw Cait with devil horns and a laughing smirk.

I have heard maany people taking time to explain Octavias view and talking about how valid it is, which it probably is, but she had leverage there. The whole month she had been able to reach out to her dad. She knew where the office was (as shown here and in previous episodes) and was apparently free to leave the mansion at any time she liked, other than Stolas who knew he was being kept from her. Andrealphus told him that all the way back in court. She must have been aware of all of Stellas negativity over the years, she was present when Stella hired a hitman over phone at the family table and all of this spite she is witnessing from her mother and her uncle does not make her think there is something behind all of this? She is portrayed as intelligent, I feel. I know teenage brains are tricky, but even considering only what she was present throughout... I can't ignore there is some active willingness to see her father in an unfairly negative light. We have to assume her father was the only one of her parents, that showed her any love, cause Stella sure as hell is incapable of that.
I think the hug Was better too ✨💕 Like not just because is What stolas need and Blitzø is respectful that he needs time, before they can be a real couple. But also it was Blitzø showing appreciation. Stolas didn’t need to hug back. This a huge step, Seeing Blitzø is So in love and Finally opening up to that feeling with all these small’ gestures of affection without anything sexual following up. This is Blitzø Doing Unconditional Intimacy With someone he “romantically” cares about and is showing support and comforting and doing it without hesitation or the fear of rejection. That hug was just him happy Stolas is alive and in his life.
Hey Morgan I just thought of something. Me and you both have issues with our dad's because my dad used to get drunk. And it was terrible my parents would fight all the time and it hurts. My dad stopped drinking because he thought it would make things better. And it did but it's still bad not as bad as it used to be when he got drunk but still bad
As a guy who went through a similar thing that Octavia went through I truly felt Octavia’s anger in this episode but at the same time, though she needs to understand how messed up things got stolen, which is why I hope that in the future of the show they can reconcile
Honestly, the scene with Octavia walking away and Stolas bawling his eyes out hit hard to home. I never lived with my dad and i only visited one week once a year due to some family issues. He died back in 2021 and I've felt really guilty because i never asked my mum to spend more time with him. I relate to Octavia a lot but thankfully my mum isn't like Stella at all, and with Octavia not wanting/not being able to see Stolas makes that feeling of that painful guilt a lot worse(And instead of my dad being LGBTQ, it's my mum and i personally see my mum's old relationship with her ex-wife like Stolas and Stella) And with Octavia's song reminds me of how I'm maturing without him and that I'll be okay without him in the future but in my head it's the opposite Sorry about that vent, no one has to actually read this i just felt like i had to say this
This episode is truly a masterpiece to Christmas special present that we won’t forget till next year with S3 in the development process. But we might be getting some Helluva Shorts while we wait till S3 comes back in action with some crazy episodes, songs, new locations, characters and much more. 😄

I have sadder theory. Seeing how triggered Millie was for the cheating earlier in the episode it almost sounds like there is a chance Moxxie is not the father.
I don't know what the future will bring. I don't know if Octavia will ever forgive Stolas. But I do know there's one good thing about hitting rock bottom: there's only one place to go, and that's up.
I love that even if Blitzø finally seems to have accepted and realised that he is in love with Stolas, it's not the end of it. I never wanted a heartfelt confession, a kiss and a happily ever after to be the finale of their relationship and the show. There is still plenty of trauma to work on, lose ends to tie up and we can do it all while these dorks get to know eachother egen better, grow closer and support eachother through it all. Also; would be cool to see Stolas working with and actually befriending the rest of the I.M.P. gang. I can't express how excited I am for the next season 💖

I appreciate you defended Octavia’s perception of Stolas. It’s easy to miss why she is so hurt and I feel like a lot of people treat her anger at Stolas as invalid because we spend so much more time with Stolas’ feelings.

As someone in her 20's who's going through something similar to Via, everyone's reactions have really been pissing me off lmao. Stolas was willing to DIE for Blitz and Via knows that. I wouldn't wanna talk to my dad after that either
right? I've seen so many reactions where they bash her and get angry at her, when everything she's upset about technically happened to some degree. Like, yes, although it was the right thing to do, Stolas did technically leave her for Blitz, and he did stay miserable for her, not because she was an obligation, but because he loves her and wanted to give her the best life he could.
She's a sheltered kid who doesn't seem to have much experience outside the castle and has had her mother whispering in her ear her entire life, her world is so small and she still needs her dad, she's only 17, so to see some people literally getting as angry at Octavia as they do with Stella, using a lot of expletives and not-so-nice suggestions that i'm not sure i can put here without getting my comment hidden by youtube, when the two aren't even comparable is just a major ick

Don't forget octavia is also still a teenager. So what she sees and knows is what her parents do tell her. Stolas didn’t tell her the full reason for his affaire and her mother doesn't talk to her about anything so the way octavia sees it no matter how many times stolas says he loves her she sees it as they were miserable together and her being born made things worse.
I feel that reason is only applicable if she was willing to hear information from either of them. She’s choosing not to gain any kind of understanding about it even when that’s offered to her 🤷♂️ She’s an angry teen at the moment who wants to be mad at him. She said herself that she doesn’t want to know more, even when she was asking questions that she doesn’t want the answers to. I guess she just needs time to let the anger fade and then hopefully one day she will reach out or let Stolas make contact.

The reason that she doesn't want to know more is probably because it would break her even worse to know that her entire life with her parents was basically a lie. There are various other potential reasons for her being unhappy about it. She and Moxxie aren't exactly in the greatest financial position. Their line of work is the furthest thing from manageable for a child to come into the picture. It's also possible that Millie may have just never planned for this to happen.

It was only after the affair with Blitz had began that Stella probably didn't avoid anymore to scream in front of her daughter.

He had to explain that he and her mother were forced to marry, that their relationship was never happy and that none of this was Via's fault. It just feels like a weird stance to take if Octavia is like “you should have let him die because you love me”. She’s not a child, she’s nearly 18, and the issue is that currently she is determined not to learn the answers to the questions she was asking him.

It's the people who put so much work in every episode and you can just see it after watching each of them. They clearly love this show and the fans and why l'm glad to have discovered this series. Helluva Boss has always been the first indie show l've watched and remains my top 1 favorite indies series. Season 2 has been an incredible journey and l can't wait for what season 3 has in store❤
Most people are against Octavia for what she did but honestly I’m here for it. Watching her tear into him at the end I was just eating it up like yes girl let it out live your best life, rage. Would love to see more angsty Olivia in the future.
I'm sure somebody else has said it but I imagine especially given how close they got last episode to being railroaded into a death sentence just for being imps who strive to better their place in life, Millie might be worried or scared about having a kid into that society. I imagine the trauma of last episode probably reinforced the uncertainties she was dealing with when she was first working for IMP and all of that plus the general stress of an unexpected first time pregnancy is probably a massive weight on her shoulders.

Well, I think Millie is upset because she's worried about not providing enough for the baby and she, Moxxie and the rest of the gang nearly DIED TWICE! So of course she's worried. I hope Octavia can get away from that toxic situation!
I think the reason Millie is sad/worried at the end is because her and Moxxie don't have much money, as explored in "Ghost Fu*ckers" with Moxxie worrying about paying rent. I imagine that Moxxie will be anxious too, since kids are expensive af.
Millie's plot twist is what shocked me the most from this episode. Like, I've always wondered if M&M would have kids, but no way thought the writers would go there, bc I wasn't sure what that would bring to the storyline, but obviously they have a plan!!
But I'm worried why she seemed so upset and didn't tell Moxxie. I've heard so many things like "It's not Moxxie's" or "She's been pregnant before but didn't go right", but honestly, the only logical explanation I agree with is "She loves her work, but she's going to have to give that up, and she understand that Moxxie didn't have the best dad, so what if she's worried he'll worry about that too?"

I really don't blame Octavia for being mad at stolas. If he had confronted his problems and divorced Stella years ago he wouldn't have needed to save blitz to begin with. Staying for Octavia doesn't really make sense when she has to grow up in an abusive household
The thing is that Stolas was the one taking all the abuse, not Octavia. Granted, Octavia grew up in a tumultuous household but unfortunately some fathers stay in marriages where they are abused because it just seems like the right thing to do at the time. Since Octavia says that neither of them were good enough for him and is unwilling to listen to any explanations, I have a feeling that she wouldn’t have been happy no matter when he initiated the divorce. Perhaps if it had happened in her childhood, she would have ended up with Stella and be even more against him. Who knows.

I have heard maany people taking time to explain Octavias view and talking about how valid it is, which it probably is, but she had leverage there.
The whole month she had been able to reach out to her dad.
She knew where the office was (as shown here and in previous episodes) and was apparently free to leave the mansion at any time she liked, other than Stolas who knew he was being kept from her. Andrealphus told him that all the way back in court.
She must have been aware of all of Stellas negativity over the years, she was present when Stella hired a hitman over phone at the family table and all of this spite she is witnessing from her mother and her uncle does not make her think there is something behind all of this?
She is portrayed as intelligent, I feel. I know teenage brains are tricky, but even considering only what she was present throughout... I can't ignore there is some active willingness to see her father in an unfairly negative light.
We have to assume her father was the only one of her parents, that showed her any love, cause Stella sure as hell is incapable of that.

As a guy who went through a similar thing that Octavia went through I truly felt Octavia’s anger in this episode but at the same time, though she needs to understand how messed up things got stolen, which is why I hope that in the future of the show they can reconcile
Honestly, the scene with Octavia walking away and Stolas bawling his eyes out hit hard to home.
I never lived with my dad and i only visited one week once a year due to some family issues. He died back in 2021 and I've felt really guilty because i never asked my mum to spend more time with him. I relate to Octavia a lot but thankfully my mum isn't like Stella at all, and with Octavia not wanting/not being able to see Stolas makes that feeling of that painful guilt a lot worse(And instead of my dad being LGBTQ, it's my mum and i personally see my mum's old relationship with her ex-wife like Stolas and Stella)
And with Octavia's song reminds me of how I'm maturing without him and that I'll be okay without him in the future but in my head it's the opposite

I don't know what the future will bring. I don't know if Octavia will ever forgive Stolas. But I do know there's one good thing about hitting rock bottom: there's only one place to go, and that's up.
I love that even if Blitzø finally seems to have accepted and realised that he is in love with Stolas, it's not the end of it. I never wanted a heartfelt confession, a kiss and a happily ever after to be the finale of their relationship and the show. There is still plenty of trauma to work on, lose ends to tie up and we can do it all while these dorks get to know eachother egen better, grow closer and support eachother through it all.
Also; would be cool to see Stolas working with and actually befriending the rest of the I.M.P. gang.
