If you get back up there you can definitely do Maggie island with the bus! It’s only a couple of bucks and you can just get on and off quite easily. I did it in a day a few weeks ago. Otherwise staying one night would mean you can see a bit more!

We used to live in Townsville, I’d have to cover my legs in equal parts of baby oil & detoll to hang out washing as the midgees were so bad. Hated the place. And you didn’t miss much on Magnetic Island. Can’t believe it’s that expensive now. Was thinking we’d go back for a visit when we eventually get up North, but your video has saved us the diversion 😜👏🏻

Hot tip - spray the repellent into cupped hands, from a close range and then rub on the skin. As cazperry9237 said below, get a Thermacel from Bunnings.

      Thanks mate!
      The mountain air is great!
On par with the carafan sahara that we used to have for the dust reduction side of it but we love having it as a normal fan/ exhaust fan and use it quite a bit 👍🏼

Because mozzy bites are acidic Apple cider vinegar is a common natural remedy because of its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and is alkaline to neutralize the acid.

Apple cider vinegar, like all vinegars is acidic, pH of 2-3.
