The Trains and Landscapes of Ely and the Fens

Featuring freight and passenger workings including Great Northern Class 387 EMUs, East Midlands Railway regional Class 156 and 158 DMUs, Cross Country services operated by Class 170 DMUs plus Greater Anglia services operated by the recently introduced Class 755 bi-modal units. In addition a wide variety of freight including intermodal services from Felixstowe with GBRf and BD Cargo Class 66s, sand from Middleton towers and stone traffic to Brandon with DCR Class 60 power.
The clips were filmed at Little Thetford, Queen Adalaide, Ely West Junction and Prickwillow.

Very nicely put together feature Anthony. I've done Prickwillow and Queen Adelaide areas before but not all of these - given me some ideas for spots this Summer. I'm compiling footage for a similar "Location Guides" feature on my channel to upload when my days out are fewer as work gets busier.

Many thanks. I think the horns on the 745/755s sound terrible, a bit like a Gorilla trying to play that Saxophone! I much prefer the old style BR two tone horn sounds.
