Here's a good reason to get an air fryer. October 7th, yes this past October I had a heart attack. 4 stents and two heart surgeries later...here I am. I love fried foods but cannot have them. Guess what? The air fryer is a GREAT substitution if you like fried foods. None of the fat and all of the crispy-ness! I make everything from toast to meat loaf in this thing. Low fat, low sodium chili dogs are one of my favorites! "Fried" chicken is to die for, too. Friends if you smoke, I'm begging you to quit. The world is a better place with YOU IN IT. 🥰🥰
@@TheSupergran145 I did asparagus, last night with my fish. I'm European so addicted to asparagus TO BEGIN WITH. It was so good. Thumbs up, friend. Keep up the good work! 🥰🥰
Did you know that it's sugar and processed carbohydrates and NOT healthy fats or salt that create heart attacks? I'm 75 and since I went HIGH saturated animal fats, moderate protein, and mostly meat...with salt to taste... my cardiac markers and all my labs have never been better and I've never felt better. "Low fat/Low salt/toxic seed oils" is a recipe for heart attacks.
Thank you for the recipes! I made the hibachi chicken with yum yum sauce tonight for my husband and my 11 year old son and they loved it! As did I. I added a little sesame oil to the marinade and also added a teaspoon of sesame oil and rice wine vinegar to the yum yum sauce. Absolutely delicious!
Asked Santa for a copy of your cookbook for Christmas, Cathy; soooo many great sounding recipes! SUGG: instead of throwing the bacon grease out, SAVE IT. We always put it in a small jar and save in the refrig; it gives GREAT taste to fried potatoes, eggs, etc. Y'all Be Safe!
4 crisper bacon, try pre-cooking it 4 a few min. Add ur brown sugar &/or spices 2 the bacon during the pre-cooking, then wrap ur pineapple & finish cooking
The air fryer I had , the non stick coating on the basket wore off, so no more non stick. it's gone, but I did get a new one with 3 baskets/trays, more like a toaster oven with a glass front door. It's different than my Gormia, but I've used it every day, several times a day, since I got it and I love it. Backed potato, home made fries, hot dogs (!) baked corn bread, frozen foods. One thing I make is chicken wings. I bought a 10 lb bag of frozen wings, Vacu sealed them in bunches of 15. When I want wings, I put a them in the steamer basket in a pot with water, heat it to a boil and turn it on low and let them steam for 30 to 45 minutes. I take them out and dry them and give them 8 minutes at 400 . When I take them out they go into a bowl with the wing sauce (I add about a teaspoon of cyan to the Redd's wing sauce for more "snap"), toss them to evenly coat and enjoy. (sure it takes longer but 10 lbs for $25. is a good deal, I paid about $3.75 for 15 wings and I got 7 bags) I have your cookbook and your refrigerator door cheat sheets so I've been doing good air frying for the past year.
In practice over time, even the rubbing from silicone tools wears out the non-stick coating. At this point, I really have to be careful when touching any non-stick surface.
I love my air fryer! My son makes his burger and fries, chicken nuggets or pizza rolls but i have made pork tenderloin roast, chicken breasts and it makes FANTASTIC brussel sprouts! I would love to have the dual blaze as it would make terrific buttermilk blueberry lemon biscuits!
So happy I found your channel! My mom never taught me how to cook & my fiance’ is too sweet to complain about it , but it’s time to make changes 🙆🏼♀️😅
My favorite recipe is crispy pork belly. When I show the result to people they think I have been BBQing them for half a day or that it was a lot of work with multiple steps of heating the pork belly. Just punch the skin with holes and salt it. Season the meat and let it rest a night. Then make an aluminum foil box to put the pork belly in and Airfry it. Crispy crackling skin every time!
Oooh, some of these do look like fun! I just bought another air fryer for dairy use (kosher home, so we keep meat and dairy completely separate), so I am looking forward to trying that veggie bake.
I bought my Cosori based almost entirely on your reviews and suggestions....and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Many thanks to you! Now then, that salmon recipie is getting done tomorrow night. FACT.

Hello It's been a while since I've been on your channel to view some of your recipes and any updates you have on air fryer usage but I just wanted to popeyes since I saw a video posted here and wish you and your family the best of holiday wishes and fortune to you and new year
Love your channel ❤ Love your cookbook ❤ Love my Cosori! Baked potatoes-if one does not have a microwave to precook the potatoes, what is the alternative?
I’d like to know if there is such a thing as “ burning off” the grime that collects on the inner walls of my instant Pot vortex? Also, I wish I knew how to convert your basket air fryer recipes to this air fry with trays😶
I Cathy my names Paul I live in the UK I have a corsori dual blaze the trouble I have is the rubbers on the corners of the crisper tray have all broken off and now the basket is all scratched I've been in touch with corsori they do not sell replacement baskets or crisper trays I've only had my air fryer for 11 months can you suggest a solution to my problem I think your video's are great love watching them keep up the great work merry Christmas to you and your family paul
Can you share the brand of vegetable peeler you use? I keep buying new peelers cuz I can’t find one that peels well. But yours looked like it peeled the sweet potatoes effortlessly 😊
I love watching these videos definitely stepped up my game and learned how to use the air fryer which I rarely touch the stove now. I also ordered your cookbook I can't wait till it arrives might take a bit cause I'm in Canada but I'll be excited when I do get my copy.
I just failed on a big scale. I remembered you videos for chucking all in (vegetables meat potato ) so I thought (cosori pro) "hey then i just dont use basket I am sure i saw her also doing recipes without the basket with holes" so my plan was to put it in the main basket ......until I realized how can it work without a handle.....🤦♀ so apparantly there is no way to cook anything without the interior holed-basket in the cosori pro xl right?
I have a air fryer with a metal mesh tray for it (like the ones for French fries), does this mean I can't cook stuff in the bottom of it like shown in this video? I am not familiar with how the air fryer works and I don't want to break it.
Have you noticed when air frying frozen chicken wings vs fresh wings, the blood line in each piece is dark and more pronounced in the frozen wings? Not sure if that has something to do with processing. When we want wings I run to the store and pick up fresh.
Is it normal that my air fryer takes 15 minutes to pre heat no matter what temp it’s pre heating to? Is there a general rule how long you should pre heat for?
I used to make bean burritos all the time my son‘s baseball coach expected him to have them every time they traveled. I mixed the beans, cheese and salsa in a bowl and zapped it in the microwave and then put it on the burritos and rolled it up. I didn’t use enchilada sauce.
I notice you use a lot of zip lock bags, do you wash them after after use? I'm asking thinking about recycling and for me it would be a lot better for the environment if you mixed ingredients in a glass bowl that would be washed after. If you wash the bags out then great. Thanks. 😁
Everything looked “horrible disgusting “ tee hee” yummy! yummy!…watched twice to jot down the recipes that aren’t in your cookbook and to enjoy your kiddos! Thanks, Steve! I was just wondering what to do with the pork I bought…so many choices, one sometimes gets boggled and ends up cooking the tried and true ways…
I have found if you aren’t sure, turn it down 25 degrees and decrease the time from what it would be in an oven. The temp is the same. I’ve found that the time needs to be cut by a few.

@empoweredcooks I'm a new subscriber, so maybe you've addressed this before... but: why avocado oil? I don't think I've ever seen that offered in our supermarkets. In my kitchen I only have regular butter - for the rare cases I make steak -, virgin olive oil for salads & marinade, and virgin coconut oil for making cookies or high temperature baking in pan or oven. I don't mind the taste in 90% of the cases, except for when I'm making fish or sth that's not overly seasoned. I assume you use avocado oil because it can heated safely - unlike olive oil - and has very little typical taste? In case I can't obtain it (I think it'll be a case of special online shops for homemade skincare. I have seen apricot seed oil and other less obvious oils there before), do you also have other decent alternatives to bake in/ use in the airfryer? Thanks!
You will find avocado oil considerably more costly than regular veg. oil. It has a far higher smoke point than veg. oil or olive oil. A safe alternative is canola or regular veg. oil.
Good video! I don’t eat meat so I skipped those. That delightful young man must be going through a growth spurt! Probably hungry all the time! Re your maple buns, why bother with corn syrup & maple flavoring! Just use real maple syrup! The veggie bake and lava cakes look wonderful!

Hello thank you for this Instagram post I watch you all the time on RUclips and always give you a like or should I say a heart on Instagram at a full you all the time but I'm don't clean my air fryer as often as you do yours looks brand new and mine is very very old I bought this at same one as you but the older version obviously and the I need to buy a new one but I'm going to buy after Christmas because I spent too much money already on Christmas presents as you probably understand I'm not gonna buy the the latest one with the the burner at the top and the burn at the bottom because I like removing the tray and leaving the oil still at the bottom off the air fryer or should I say the bottom part the tray so I need to buy one of the older ones I've seen all your videos and the different types and some of them you have to take out the food with a tongues or use a special handle to pull out the middle part so you can take the food out I don't really like that I like the old design where you just on touch the tray and lift the food out and pour it onto your plate or use a fork to take out the food once it's removed that's why I use my air fryer way more than I use my oven my oven uses too much electricity and when I live by myself I like to conserve on electricity to keep my bills low so I wanna buy two air fryers because I want to big trace to put them in so I can make a lot of food I vote for packed lunches when I'm going to work or when I'm feeling a bit naughty and I like to have a lot of food while I'm watching videos on RUclips or watching movies on my computer thank you for all your videos I really appreciate it I notice I see some of your children in the videos what's really nice because it has a different opinion about different types of foods and how good they are but I never see your partner Ben you do your videos I would like a man's opinion about certain foods you stay you use his smoker or is it a BBQ machine when you cook certain food and although I could never afford like a big BBQ machine I would like to try to do certain BBQ type foods in the air fryer it'll be really nice if you can do a video on it like obviously BBQ wings ribs certain types of chicken breast or chicken fries corn on the cob and I guess you understand what I mean thank you again and thank you for all those lovely videos your friend on RUclips who is all the way here in England London bye.
I still haven't found an oil sprayer like you use, I wonder if it's bc olive oil is thicker consistency. My oil bottle comes out in a stream and I have the same style that you use. Oh well clumps of oil it is😐
I have the same one she does (at least I think so). I found out on accident that if you do a quick squirt it does a stream but if you do it slowly, it’s a spray.
I always want to try these recipes and then I remember I don't have a dishwasher and am a lazy lazy man. So I make toast instead. Great videos though! ... Also - how many kids do you have? like a million?
You don’t need a dishwasher with an air fryer. Just soak the pan, and rack after cooking, and because they are non stick, they clean up perfectly! Go on, treat yourself, you won’t regret it!
I got myself a 1-2 person dishwasher a few years back. So small it fits in a regular kitchen cabinet with storage space left on top. I have a tiny kitchen, even for Dutch standards, so mine is on top of my fridge (which is about hip height), but I ended up storing a small freezer I missed out on as a result in a wooden shed on my patio. I kinda had to buy a dishwasher because a too late diagnosis of an initially simple to treat illness left me with a LOT of disabilities, including chronic fatigue. But, I would definitely recommend one to anyone as it saves up so much time, and you don't need to worry about using extra plates or that airfryer. Speaking of, I've recently acquired an airfryer to help me diminish the physical burden of cooking and I've come to realise that if you buy a simple set of accessories, meaning airfryer baking sheets (or the silicone variety, saves money eventually) and/or silicone baskets in which to pour the fries or veggies, you almost never need to clean the airfryer either. So far I either didn't need to do anything because it remained completely clean afterwards, or a rinse with a bit of hot water was enough (I imagine a soak with hot water and some dish soap will be plenty when it is really dirty as those baskets have a special coating). If I do create a true mess with the silicone baskets or the airfryer ones I have my trusted mini dishwasher of course, but I agree with the other person here: it's barely any cleaning. Using my way - with the liners or baskets - even less.

Amazon, me too! I use the liners about half the time…one less thing to wash up but do as Cathy says and make sure the weight of the food holds it down and in place…
Love your shows, bought the new Cosori and love it as well. Only problem is ordered cookbook and cheat sheet and not here yet. Got an Email that says it was mailed on 21 December, and I paid extra for UPS. Tried to go to the tracking info but it takes me to a sales site. Tried contacting you through Pepper site but no customer service available, or order history of any kind. Sure hope cookbook shows up
Is your bacon wrapped pineapple in your cookbook?
Why the name change?
How many kids do you have!?😂

Can we buy your book in Germany?!? 🇩🇪
We can 🎉🎉 and mine arrived today 🤩👌✔️
Love your cookbook, use it often. Next up, those peppermint lava cakes just in time for Christmas!
YESSSS! Enjoy those!
Spray the AF with Dawn power wash. Add water. Wipe out and rinse, dry. You're done. If that is too much use an AF paper and just throw it away.
@cllikewhat will try the slowly style, I thought she always squeezed fast so will give it a go.
Oxo and Evo make decent ones. I have avocado oil in my evo. It’s heavier than olive or vegetable oil.
@@cllikewhat Thanks will try that, I've been doing it like Cathy does .
Livre en français ? Sûrement pas possible acheter
I‘d love to watch your Videos, but the soundquality is so Bad that i just don‘t😢
I always want to try these recipes and then I remember I don't have a dishwasher and am a lazy lazy man. So I make toast instead. Great videos though! ... Also - how many kids do you have? like a million?
OMG dumb
Your boys are tough critics. Brutal.

I was surprised that you put sugar in savoury dishes? Really put me off.
Good recipes, but I cringed watching you cut chicken on a China dish.
