Glad that you liked the video, the ELR line is a great setting for a 40's weekend. The 40's was a great time for music, dancing and fashions but unfortunately the war was also going on, and not dissimilar to the horrific Ukraine war that we are witnessing, unbelievably, in 2023. My Mum and Dad, now long gone, both served in the armed forces during the war and were both keen dancers. I am often reminded of them at 40's events, particularly when I see re-enactors dancing to Moonlight Serenade. So I can understand you sometimes feeling a little emotional.
