    I was diagnosed with persistent genital arousal disorder (secondary to interstitial cystitis)after suffering for 6 months at 17. I began being treated for interstitial cystitis and the pgad went away about a month later. If I had to suffer from it any longer I WOULD NOT be here. This is a TERRIBLE disease and I would not wish it on my worst enemy!!

    I'm in tears as I also suffer from chronic pelvic pain from endometriosis and sadly it keeps coming back and among other issues that come with endometriosis (PCOS,IC,IBS, now thinking fibromyalgia) it gets bad and I relate with the woman who says she doesn't know who she was anymore and I'm only 24 and it's been 5 years since this all started happening and sadly I'm starting to feel the same way. I'm very lucky to also have a fiancé and family who love me no matter what. We are set to get married September 1st next year but I worry daily about my pain and how it's not getting better.

      When I was younger I was diagnosed with endometriosis so I decided to go and get a partial hysterectomy because I was too young for a full hysterectomy and I haven't had any problems since talk to your doctor about a partial hysterectomy..I hope you talk to your doctor cause that surgery took me out of all that horrible pain ...

    • @ballerinaaub
      @ballerinaaub 6 лет назад +1

      Jessica Dailey I hear you but sadly I'm only 24 and I turn 25 next year and we get married then and we want to try for kids somewhere after. But sadly I've been offered it many times and have been to the point where if I want to say it gets done, it will happen. However this being said you're very lucky to have it fix things. I have it all over including my bowel and intestines and even a partial hysterectomy wouldn't really help. But I'm glad you are out of pain thanks for the comment and suggestion. We found out that my mom also has endo and she said it wasn't as bad as mine but everything stopped for her once us children were born so let's hope that happens for me too!

    • @amymbeauty8765
      @amymbeauty8765 6 лет назад +1

      Aubrie.Duncan I feel you girl. I'm 32 now but have had the same issues since I was about 20. It's so overwhelmingly frustrating because because while you may have had doctors diagnose your issues, mine always seem to say that nothing seems wrong and make me feel like I'm crazy. Yet I have pain all the time. I know my body and I know something is not right yet have no clue what is causing it. Since a little after I became intimate, I am lucky if there's sometimes where it's not painful. It sure can take a toll on your relationship. I have had a child and the pregnancy was filled with complications and pain when there shouldn't have been. The symptoms got worse after pregnancy too but it was worth it so I'd say definitely hold off if you can on the partial hysterectomy. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who's had to be going through this but good luck to you and I hope you have better doctors then I've had these past twelve years. :)

      Aubrie.Duncan I had stage 4 endometriosis. I suffered for years. The pain was unbearable. My mom would have to take me to the ER for a shot of demerol. There was no pain management back then in the 80s. I finally had a hysterectomy at 32. The best thing I ever did. No more pain. I can deal with hot flashes. More studies need to be done on this disease.

    Really wish I could get answers for the same type of issues. Since I became sexually active twelve years ago I have had these issues and every doctor that I've ever seen has not had any answers and makes me feel like I'm crazy and don't know what I'm talking about. It really takes a toll on your relationships, not to mention your sex drive because all you equate it with is pain. Really wish I had someone like these guys to help me. It's nice to see someone finally stand up and say No, this isn't normal and you shouldn't have to deal with it. Good luck to her and her husband. Glad she got help and answers.

    I have been dealing with this since I was a kid. I would squirm around in my chair at school or get up to walk around the class room and ask to go to the bathroom constantly. I had a ton of trouble sleeping because I was always uncomfortable and tossed and turned. I didn't like sleep overs with friends or going on long trips where I'd have to sit to long and so on. And as a kid especially back in my day how do you tell someone what's going on down there. I was labeled disruptive in the class room I'd be put in the corner or sent to the office and I felt like I was going nuts. 30 yrs later and the only thing I've found that works for me is opioid blockers. My doctor said opioid blockers suppress your nervous system and can cause some people to lose their sex drive. And yes I know pgad has nothing to do with your sex drive I'm just saying opioid blockers can cause that too. If you look up opioid blockers and why they cause impotence and other problems you can get an Idea why they work for pgad. My doctor explained it all to me. But anyway it really helps with my symptoms from pgad. I don't know if this works for everyone but, it works wonders for me. The down side is that any time I've tried to go off the opioid blockers the symptoms from the pgad came back within 24 hrs sometimes less. Just last week I spoke with my doctor about possible surgery but, that has a risk of causing me to lose to much feeling down there and not being able to have a normal sex life with my husband would really suck. So for now I've found the perfect balance with the treatment I'm receiving. I have enough sensation to enjoy being intimate with my husband but the pain and discomfort has very much improved. I've also tried antidepressants and medications to treat epilepsy and so on but, they didn't work. So for now I'm sticking with this.

    I saw a woman at Walmart today she was acting weird at the self checkout register. She couldn't stand straight she was acting as when you need to pee and you holding it and binding down sometimes, doing some wierd moves,..exactly, but on top of that she look like she was falling asleep at the same time. She couldn't even scan her items . I had to call a register attendant to assist her. As I was getting to my vehicle i saw her standing (sort of) acting the same way behind the door. I fell so sorry for her, so in my research to find out what was her illness called I stumbled on this video. I do not know her but I prayed that she get healed of that embarrassing and maybe painful condition.

    I have CRPS (chronic regional pain syndrome which is to do with nerve passage ways to my knees) in my knee. That’s on top of another condition where my knee dislocates multiple times a day (it used to do it 30-40 time a day!) some days are better than others. But with the CRPS on top it was just excruciating. It’s all todo with the nerve passage ways.

    • @lvega5606
      @lvega5606 2 года назад

      You might also want to make sure your pelvis is in alignment. I was in some bad accidents and often my knee will start hurting, and I'll know it's time to put my pelvis in alignment. Once it is, the knee pain goes away. Everything is connected. Wouldn't have believed it if I didn't live it.

      Hey Hillary,
      You idiotic unsympathetic heartless B*£%|>}!!! I got pn from a medical malpractice surgery at 30 years old and it has taken my entire life from me!!! We have been all over the country trying to get me my health and life back with no luck. This condition and many other pelvic pain conditions are not well known enough, not taught in medical school and need funding for research to get better treatments available & more help for people out there with this. You have no idea how absolutely devastating this is and HOW NOT AT ALL FUNNY THIS IS AND HOW DARE YOU INSULT SOMEONE WHO HAS THIS FOR ANY REASON!!! YOU ARE A HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PERSON TO HAVE THE NERVE TO SAY WHAT YOU SAID!
      THESE CONDITIONS PGAD AND PN LITERALLY TAKE YOUR ENTIRE LIFE AWAY FROM YOU, YOU LOSE THE ABILITY TO FUNCTION ON YOUR OWN. YOU CAN’T BE ACTIVE, WORK, HAVE A SOCIAL LIFE, GO OUT, OR EVEN SOMETHING SIMPLE AS DO YOUR OWN LAUNDRY. IT ALSO CAN TEAR APART FAMILIES AND FRIENDS. IT LITERALLY DESTROYS YOUR ENTIRE WORLD.
      I have tried to commit suicide 5 times and my mom 3. Both of us nearly succeed the last time we both tried and I’m about to literally try again. I literally hope karma as well as god strikes you down with this same condition because there are many ways to get it so you can see your entire world fall apart around you and having to be bed ridden IN HORRIFIC PAIN YOU NEVER IMAGINED COULD EXIST EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR LITERALLY THE REST OF YOUR MISERABLE LIFE. (I always said I would never wish any of these conditions upon anyone because they are so so so terrible, but now, I’d say you deserve it just based on your idiotic comment. How dare you.)
