The Crucible is one of my favorite classics and I’m definitely overdue for a reread since the last time i read it, i was in… high school 😅I’ve also been meaning to pick up Giovanni’s room and every time you mention it, it makes me more excited
Pale Fire is so good, it's my favourite Nabokov novel that I've read so far! It has the beautiful writing of Lolita and such an interesting structure. The humour is on point and it tackles some really interesting ideas.
I would recommend to buddy up The Scarlet Letter with the Crucible and with a nonfiction book on the Salem Witch trials. Bundle it up in October and have yourself a witchy time. I love your momentum on booktube right now... I'm literally too lazy to turn on my camera at the moment
This collection is so impressive! I don't consider myself a book collector, but I bet it'd be really fun to go on the hunt for books that complete a specific collection like this one. And really satisfying when you get the books you're missing!
it does mean that if im in a secondhand shop and see a book in one of these editions for a cheap price i feel like i need to buy it, even if i dont care about that book 😅
Funny you mention The Crucible that's been on my mind recently as I watched the film. I'd love to see the stage play though. The James Baldwins are probably my favourites I like that whole colourful montage(?) thing they have going on. Great video Connor

Love your collection! Do you know from what year on are the new mint green editions printed? Sometimes it’s impossible to know if it’s the older or the newer edition online, so knowing the date of publication would be great! Thank you!!!
thank you! i think any past 2016 should definitely be in this edition but im not 100% sure and im away from home currently. its strange how some still have white spines, like for example i love vladimir nabokov but in waterstones half of his books are still white. youd think they would standardise them all by now
all of my books except my black penguin classics are in those mirrored wardrobes behind me and they all have plastic storage boxes full of random junk behind them so its not really that pretty 😭 one day when i move out ill have visible bookcases haha
