The third Indian sweet is a kesar peda made with milk powder, without cooking mawa for hours!

Recipe :
3 Mithai in 10 Minutes
Kesar Peda
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
250g milk powder
3 tbsp ghee
½ cup milk
½ cup sugar
Few strands Kesar
Sliced Pistachios to garnish
Method:
Heat milk and ghee together in a pan. add the milk powder, saffron and mix well. Cook for a few minutes till it comes together and leaves the sides of the pan. add the sugar, cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and shape into pedas.
Besan ke Laddu
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
250g Roasted gram (without skin)
150g Desi Ghee
250g Powdered sugar
Method:
Grind the roasted gram to a fine powder. Pass through a sieve to get a fine powder.
Melt the ghee in a pan. add the roasted chana powder. Mix well. Remove from heat. Add the powdered sugar and mix well. Make lemon sized balls of the mixture. Allow to rest for a while for the ghee to set. Serve.
Coconut Barfi
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
250g desiccated coconut
2 cups sugar
Pink food colour
1 tsp rose water
½ cup milk powder
Siver varq
Method:
In a pan, bring to a boil the sugar with 1 cup water. Cook for 5 minutes till it comes to a 1 string consistency syrup.
Add the milk powder and coconut powder and cook till it comes together. Add the rose water and mix well.
Divide the mixture into 2 parts. Add a few drops of pink food colour to one mixture.
Spread the white mixture in a greased thali. Pat flat. Top with pink mixture and pat flat.
If you have silver varq, apply it on the barfi.
Cool completely and cut into pieces. Serve.

Mam, no offence but the roasted chana powder is called Sattu. It's not besan. Both are entirely different. Saying sattu as besan is just the same as calling spaghetti as noodles. Also we make this laddu in Bihar on the occasion of Bisua that is celebrated at the start of summer. That day we eat one whole meal cooked with the ingredients of Sattu. Thanks for the recipes. They look delicious, we will try them for sure.
I'm from Maharashtra and we do call and make besan like this, it tastes authentic and is just as good as besan from dukan

You probably overcooked the syrup or the coconut mixture.
Mam I asked solution, anyways I took a cup of water and half cup sugar with one cup dedicated coconut cooked for one minute and added all bikhra material in hot pan and mixed well and done it's so yum now everyone liked.......thanks for the receip
