I was checking out my favorite "Band of Gypsys" live album and heard some sweet hendrix licks that I wanted to figure out. I spent a little time working some licks out and figured I could pass them along to you guys as well!
The licks are in Bb which can be a little different, so look out for that. Otherwise it's all the Bb minor pentatonic scale which WE LIKEEEY thanks for the support everybody!!

Thank you, Marty. Very good lesson, and most generous of you to share your knowledge. It made me want to listen to Jimi's brilliance with the Band of Gypsies, which I hadn't done. Ta from down under.

Some of the techniques remind me a little of the fade to black main solo. Especially that tasty high e bend. Love it! Would love to start playing more blues after just playing metal. Love it great vid!

11:10 if a know Jimi he would do this bend to the major third (at least sounds cooler), he use bends to the major third all the time am i wrong ?

It is a sea foam green that has been a bit worn out.
