I like how Walter Ray is like, I hope I could get to 15 or 20 titles someday, how about 47 you GOAT!

Actually I think Earl Anthony is the GOAT. He didn't win as many titles as Walter but he done so much in so litttle time. He did not start his pro career til he was 31.

That is a great point......but I would counter that Walter Ray did it longer, over different eras of bowling. Player of the Year at 50??!! A little side note ...Walter is now the only player to shoot 300 games 2 handed, and one handed. Remarkable.......

I am a lifelong fan of Walter Ray Williams Jr. This is the one I wanted him to win more than anything. Darn Del Ballard Jr., ha ha ha! Miss this version of PBA bowling when they talk to the champion and then the runner-up.

Del Ballard Jr puts a tremendous amount of roll on the ball.

I would give anything to see a rematch of these two bowlers at the same time in history but BOTH using a Blue Hammer. It would be fascinating to see what the outcome would be.

Del Ballard sure do likes to flirt with that channel!!

Del Ballard was untouchable in his prime.

Nobody could touch him. And yes that includes Walter Ray Williams Jr and Pete Weber. He won four out of his five Majors against those two players alone, who are ranked number 2 and number 4 of all time. That's saying something right there!!

Even then, he was flirting with the channel. We saw what happened against Pete Webber. How did that work out for you?.
