Yes one of the many many great Salvation Army marches, too many to have a favorite. I must have played most of them at one time with the Sunderland Monkwearmouth band. Even Black Dyke Mills band is recognizing how great these marches are.
I am sharing this with Christian Music friends and wish I knew any words to this! My understanding is the song is Original and there is no 'words'. One of the best marches EVER, though!
We used to sing the table grace, Be present at our table Lord, be here and everywhere adored. These mercies bless and grant that we, may spend our lives in serving thee, using the tune that appears first at 1:45.
We sing these words - One talent have I to take to the sky, while some of the rest have ten of the best. Why should I complain, from duty refrain? No never, no never, not I!
Finale: One talent have I, to take to the sky. While others are blessed with ten of the best. Why should I complain, from duty refrain. No never. No never, not I

Definitely one of my top five Salvation Army marches to play of all time! I've been a long time subscriber for around 4 years now, and I've always wanted to ask, how do you have access to all these audio recordings? Really cool how you have some songs on this channel that I've never heard of!
There is no sound like a Sally Ann Band, MARVELOUS
Could not have said it better myself

It is really good to see other bands picking up some of these marches

We sang
I’m happy today, Yes happy today
In Jesus’s name I’m happy today
He’s taken all my sins away,
And that’s why I’m happy today
A great march played as it should be. God Bless the ISB
I like it played a little slower and with the precise change of pace towards the end. (As Regent Hall)
Mary Garlock. This march is written around an old Salvation Army chorus "I'm happy Today" I hope this helps !
