The makers of the Quint Art Drums don't appear to have their own website outside of Facebook, what a shame because I really love their tongue drums, they sound beautiful and look wonderful.
The quality and competence of this performance, technically goes far beyond many of the top pan players I have observed so far Tjeerd! Your playing is a true gift my friend :-) Curious what will happen if you use that sound architecture mind of yours in combining microphone effects with this kind of playing, and a multilayered approach with all the other instruments you represent :-) Much more magic to come is what i feel for sure. I seem to like the tone of the Art Quint better than a Rav. More of a warmer almost marimba quality.
Yeah, I know what you mean. It is warmer indeed :) Less metallic.
Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against it..but the sound is a bit flat. My RAV Vast sounds deeper somehow.🤔
