I have a 2023 RG Special and I’m super excited to see what HD does. I don’t feel slighted at all. The new RG fairing and infotainment system just hasn’t grown on me all that much. I’m sure it will though as time goes by. Well done sir.

To me, the RK is classic Harley Davidson. When I was young all of my friends fathers had Road Kings and I thought they were so cool. I think that’s why I love the RK so much. Appreciate the love!

I decided to buy a new road glide ST at a heavily discounted price in December, and now it's looking like that purchase was an extremely good idea
I like the new fairing, but I really don't like the all digital aspect. I like digital for the radio/navigation, but I really like the analog guages.

Glad i bought a one of the few remaining Anniversary Road Glides in December. I just can't get on board with the new design of both the Road Glides and Street Glides. I like some of the other changes like the infotainment setup but that is about it.

I was thinking it will be the last year for the shark nose fairing and I wanted one, looking forward to the release on the 24th. it will be interesting to see what the future of HD looks like, I do like that 121ci VVT engine, I'm hoping that becomes the new standard!

I like the looks of the SG and the RG but I want more comfort and balls out performance without spending $15k extra. So I bought a BMW K1600b. It wheelies at 40mph and 50mph with the Bren Tune I just had done.

I liked the changes to both fairings right away last year when they revealed the CVO’s. I test rode one at Sturgis this past August. It rode great! Loved it. Out of the two, I liked the changes on the Street Glide fairing more than the changes on the Road Glide fairing, but I still liked them both. There are a few other things I disliked about them though. Overall, I like the upgrade to this point.

I'm very curious about the CVO Pan America... I can't really see them doing anything with the engine, it's already a beast. I believe you're right with them including off-road packages. Will be interesting to see what they include.
I am also wondering about the price. CVOs are expensive!! I think the CVO Pan America will be outrageous...

Hi thanks for the video. I live in NJ and currently own the Highway King in hi-fi magenta, I have number 129 of 750. I have chromed the upper and lower front forks and I must say that the 114 engine is really, really good. My previous bike was a 2002 king classic in black And this bike is much more powerful. It’s more than I need. I also really like the clutch so much better too, thankfully they dropped the hydraulic clutch. Regarding the 2024 bikes, I really like that white in the new ultra limited, and, I was actually wanting to buy an ultra limited last year but I went with the highway king when it came out , unexpectedly, not only because of the old school look but because I didn’t think I would do the kind of riding that the ultra limited is set up to do. That white is really nice although I am a bigger fan of chrome than the blacked out look tho it does look good with the white. Sorry about the long comment… be well!

I’d like to see them lighten up the Panamerica a bit. I will be buying an adventure bike this year, and it will either be this or the Triumph. I’m guessing I will be getting the Tiger because as much as I would like to get the PA, it’s just a pig for weight. I’m always excited to see what they’ll do for Icon and Enthusiast models - more so than for the CVOs.

I'm not overly excited just yet, I've heard mixed reviews about the new bikes. I just bought a new 23' Ultra Limited - black on black because this time of the year was a good time to buy and if this is the end of the current generation, the hope is that all the bugs are worked out as much as possible. I think there might be some upset people as well if they put the 24 Limited's out without a new fairing.

  • @tvd1188
    @tvd1188 5 месяцев назад

Pan Am's aren't strictly off road bikes as you suggest. I've barely hit the dirt on mine and so far i've used it to tour with. Maybe HD is leaning into the touring/street side of the PA to boost sales? Thats what everyone says to me when i tell them i have a PAS... "oh thats nice if you like to off road". No, its a great road bike too! So HD could start showing that side.

The CVO Pan America will be hit for the folks who ride on the asphalt, like the BMW GS crowd on the super slab and parked at cafes and these riders are the majority. The hint of a "Hydraglide" icon model will be real smart, because the movie theatre screens will be full of Hydraglides when "The Bikeriders" is released and it will be a hit. I understand that Harley has to progress. But one of the major benefits of owning a Harley is the aftermarket and the ability to customize your bike make it your own. With all of this “integration” of lights, turn signals, infotainment and gauges, I don’t see how any of those things can be customized now. The only thing you’ll be able to do to your bike is suspension, big bore kits and exhaust. Which bums me out. Just my thought

Hell, I’d rather go buy a used one than pay for what they’re putting out now. They’ve totally stuck their middle finger up at all the over 45 riders who like the classic styling. So I think the "New Era" reveal will be a major change to the product lineup. Otherwise it's just over exaggerated marketing which Harley tends to avoid. Wow - The Dawn of a New Era.

Not too excited, does not matter to me what Harley does.
I have a 2006 Electra Glide Ultra Classic.
It has over 122,000 miles on it, runs great.
I am 73 years old, can still put 6,000 Mi a year on it. I am not rich but I am not poor, at this age I think I'll just stay with my paid for bike.😆😆
    Be careful, rides safe.

Of the 2 new fairings, I do not care for the SG. It's too narrow, especially looking at it from the rear with the wider bags. No way are they putting ohlins on the rear of the entire line, maybe an ST, but I doubt it. Fancy paint on an off-road bike... yeah ohhhhk

Yeah that’s all I wanted the Öhlins on was the ST. I doubt it too though unfortunately. Would definitely set the bike apart much more.

I currently ride a 22 FLHT. In full disclosure… I resist, strenuously, all change unless it’s a demonstrable, quantifiable, utilitarian benefit. I have to be bluntly honest… in today’s economy… I don’t see ANY good reason to be completely redesigning anything where the price point doesn’t go down. I mean, in full disclosure… I’m still unhappy about the 23 releases… but more importantly, mad about the discontinued. The Road King Standard, the EG Standard… The entry level bikes at an entry level price point to bring in more new riders. Sure… update the lighting to all LED across every bulb… but that was really all that was needed to improve the bone stock bikes. Truthfully not excited at all for the new redesigns.

Street Glide looks amazing but that Road Glide is one of the grossest things I've seen HD make. They've lost one of the key style indicators of RG which is the double headlight. So glad I got mine before they ruined it.

I owned a 23 RG CVO, it's actually really nice, but the digital dash and integrated stero was junk. It needs a bigger battery, operating system, and reliability. But the 121, is very nice and it's fast.

@@talkingrock7011 121 is stock, and it will surprise you. I didn't compare it to another engine, especially a built one. If I wanted a really fast bike, I wouldn't buy a slow one and spend more money trying to make it quicker. I'd buy a fast bike. I like my HDs the way they are, a set of slipons, nice seat upgrade, cool windshield, I'm good to go. If I want to smoke your 131, I'll show up on my PA with a slipon and all you will see is my tailight.

It’s not “all new” if the chassis hasn’t changed. At this point the engine is irrelevant. These touring bikes are the same bike since 2009 with different body work. Would be better if they came with an option of factory stage 2,3, & 4. It’s also 2024, adjustable suspension in rear AND front as well as TPMS should be standard. Guessing the CVO Pan America is to compete with the Option 719 BMW GS.

The 2023 cvo street glide fairing redesign is absolutely sick. But i willl neeeverrrr evvvveeeer evvvveeer support the 2023 cvo road glide fairing. If they make the 2023 cvo road glide fairing the new standard for all road glide models going forward...i will officially declare the road glide dead and become a 100% street glide fan. Fuuuuucck that road glide fairing on god.

I think I am glad I bought a 23 RG special. These new ones are ugly. Good news is I won’t be going into debt anymore and will probably keep this one for a while. I bought a new ram this year too because they are doing away with the hemi. Guess at 44 I am getting to be an old man and don’t like change.
