And, if I can't, can I create a new drive letter via a partition on the 1 TB drive that comes with it? BTW, were you saying that the fan was noisy or quiet? Not sure from watching the video. I’m looking for a laptop for music and editing videos and photos possibly photoshop and REKORDBOX I saw this liked the look cuz of the specs but have been told to avoid as the ARM is not ready for apps and certain things.
The 9 Pro XL, but not any of the other ones unless Google ends up sending them to me. They stopped sending me devices last year, so I'm not planning on it.
They used to. They decided that I wasn’t giving them favorable enough coverage through Team Pixel and dropped me. Not a good look and a sad change from before. I wish I could get in with their proper PR department as I’m a tech reviewer, not an influencer.
I recently just purchased the S5504VA version without the extra TB; is the build spec the same & would I be able to place more RAM into this version of the vivobook if so what would you recommend?. Thanks for the information yet again
I really hate when revieers nit pick. look I like cooler quieter laptops, I don's like fans that sound like Lion Roar, and I don;t like to hve my knees and fingers burn off
Projecting much? I didn't even say it was a big deal or bad. I simply covered it with a sound sample for you to determine if you thought it was bad or not. lol.
@@Wealthts_ not either, I think ARM has something to do with it and the display drivers. it's compatibility/hardware issue according to the technician. I had to replace the unit and exchange it to another model.

I like how you said 6 hrs is rough….I was around in early 2000s if a machine lasted 2 hrs without charge it was jaw dropping.

Is this computer compatible with all old x86 programmes? For example can I run scientific workplace (a program for mathematicians) with this?

Not all apps are there. As mentioned, even Apple had a transition period when they moved to Apple silicon.

Looks like it's soldered onto the board, so what you buy is what you get on that one as well.

Do not buy this one, why would Asus make a new age device with old size? Waiting for a 16:10 16 inch laptop with 90 Wh battery.
Not everyone wants a big laptop. I like this size!

Because it has better contrast ratios and blacks. People complain when it isn't glossy, too.
