Thank you for your explanations! Do you happen to know how I would have to do to project 2 different videos on each side of the cake with one projector? If I mapped everything correctly but have 2 videos to show at the same time. Thank you in advance!

It's the same process as shown in the video except each screen only needs one slice and in the input selection tab for each of those slices you would edit the box to contain only half the video.
Maybe you could output a video feed that's filming the projector's output - that would form a loop. Or there might be a custom shader that already exists or you could import into Resolume. I'm not sure about that off the top of my head
Great videos they are my reference. One question Will have to use a Duelhead2go. When I save my video to a file can I play it from a media player thru the Duelhead2go to the projectors? Thanks in advance for any advice you have
Interesting question. Not a set-up I've ever explored but I think it would only work if the media player supports the resolution that would come from the DualHead2Go (e.g. double width) and I'm not sure that's very likely
Hi, great video. Thank a lot! I have one question: I am mapping on a big square object (for a dance performance) with two projectors. At the beginning the object is standing in one place, it then goes to four separate exact predetermined locations and alignment on stage. I have noticed that the edge-blending setting I made (based on the first alignment of the object) is not optimal for the others, in fact I need one for every (four) arrangement of the object. Is there a way of quickly switching between saved edge-blend setups in Resolume? If not, maybe in other software? In short: how would you solve if you had to project on a cake that is first in one location, then moves a bit closer en a bit to the left (and both locations are predetermined) without moving the projectors, just by quick switch of edge-blend/mapping scene/setting in the mapping-software. (Just to be clear, I don't want to map while it is moving, just on the different fixed positions.) Many thanks.
You need some hardware that will allow you to split your displays. Not sure about 6 projectors but look into products like the TripleHead2Go www.matrox.com/en/video/products/gxm/triplehead2go-series/dp-edition That would get you 3 displays per output from your machine. So if you have 2 display outputs from your laptop that would be possible. I don't work with more than 2 generally so I'm not an expert on using so many projectors.
@@LumaBox I realized my laptop could only support one projector display. This worked perfectly well with my desktop setup with a suitable graphics card.
We are trying to find someone to help us with a current project. We are trying to combine 12 projectors to display one large image. We are currently using Datapath FX4 devices to support this need. We need assistance to edge blend the 12 projectors to create one clean image. We’ve heard there is softwares that can help but don’t have any experience in this arena. The projectors we are using are the Viewsonic LS550wh. Do you have any experience by chance or know of someone who may be able to help? We would be happy to pay you of course. Thank you so much!
Hi - I don't know of anyone specifically, sorry. But this is certainly something MadMapper could handle if that helps narrow down your search. An AV specialist of some kind could give you more advice
You can pretty-much be assured that after you've gone to all this trouble, the wedding photographer will ignore all protestations by resolutely standing in front of one of your projectors and messing up all your hard work.
😂 Although the good thing about using a short throw projector is there is only about 1 meter between each projector and the cake, so it would be a weirdly close shot for the photographer to be trying to get
Really well explained! Good job.
Thanks!
Thank for sharing this knowledge too. Hoping to have my company listed on your website soon.
Awesome. Let me know when you're ready :)
Superb tutorial! My laptop only has a HDMI output and a USB C port, question is, can I plug a second projector on USB-C through a hub?
Hmm, the question is less about ports but how many display outputs your laptop supports so check the specs

Can I do same with MadMapper ?

Great video, thank you! Is there a length/file size limit for the videos that you can use on resolume?
Hmm... good question to which I don't actually know the answer! Guess you could always test and see! 😁
Can this be done with Madmapper? Your tutorials are my saviours! Thank you
Yes absolutely - here's a tutorial showing how ruclips.net/video/XSiZTfjSIys/видео.html
Could my output display be infinite mirror wall in an enclosed room? Or how do I get the projector to display in the infinity mirror walled room?

one question, do the cakes melt due to the light being projected on them?
No they don’t
Hi, if I use an HDMI splitter won't it project the same dimensions or video from the input signal?
Yes it will
I was wondering what i would need to use to setup 6 projectors and one time?

Hey, I'm having trouble even getting the option for Display 3. I'm on windows. Any ideas why?
That's not something I've ever encountered. Is it anything like this issue? resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11675

@@LumaBox Thank you, though.
How did u get displAY 3 on your output ?
By having two projectors connected (1st projector = display 2, 2nd projector = display 3)
Apakah resolume 6 berfungsi dengan pengaturan seperti ini?
I'm afraid I don't know sorry. But my guess would be yes
sweeeet, but how about 3 or 4 displays?
You can get display splitters for that many outputs e.g. matrox quadhead2go (4 displays)
Is this also possible with Avenue?
I don't think so, based on this info resolume.com/support/en/avenue-arena-difference
How to working hdmi &mini to hdmi in one laptop in mapping pls replay 🙏🏻
