OMG I discovered this about a month ago. I thought it was one of their 70's albums I didn't have. Such a great new old school sounding tune from them!
The horn bridge at 2:52 is CLASSIC Tower Of Power! THAT is the whipped cream on this outstanding TOP tune!

I was surprised, to say the least, to have this pop up on my feed. I m 59and I first saw Top when I moved to SF at 17 and went every chance I got until I moved to Colorado in "84. It's always a smile plastering good time with vibrations high from beginning to end! It sounds like you never missed a step. Thank you! I live in Henderson now just outside of Vegas which is called the entertainment capital of the world. Ha! I never experienced so much top of the line entertainment as when I lived in the Bay Area. Absolutely. And TOP was the event many times, great times. That's how you roll.

Has a classic Al Green/EW&F vibe to it. i dig it. DG's snare they muffled a lil bit to make it slightly more 'Memphis Soul' with the tom added to the the 2&4 Great Love Message. That's Ray singing ,right?!
