I cant believe it’s 2020 and you’re uploading this. I have a 760 (made in west germany version) that i’ve been tuning up for my moms for a year (repairing stuff is a hobby). I Replaced the same motor adjustment thing and now working on realigning the needle. This is the best in-depth look into this machine on the internet. Thanks for doing this. If you do any more videos on this i’ll know cause i just subscribed 🙏🏽
Now do one on repairing the tensioner in the top lid, please!! Thread slips through the tensioner just fine for a few stitches, then gets pinched tight even when tension is loosened.
The last setting on the stitch pattern selector is for cam discs, not for winding the bobbin. You should have 6 black and 8 white flexi discs. Btw. best regards for a great job done.
This model 760 is my machine had for 45years. Now having problems sewing, took it for service, they told me, gears problems can't replace them no spare parts, too old. So so sad. I haven't given up yet. Anyway I can it repaired?
I am working on a Singer 756...the stitch length dial won't turn easily...in fact after the fine length...the dial won't turn to the flex stitch symbol.
Take a look at this - ruclips.net/video/iMOwDH8yLUM/видео.html. There's possibly another capacitor in the actual sewing machine near the motor that could be causing the smell.
