Actually happen to be on of the unlucky ones . Had a new set of gas strings put on at bow shop. String actually snapped due to a slice under a serving from the factory according to gas . New set had a alot of serving separation. After the third set now no problems and gas was really generous and gave me an extra set . Love the warranty and the no hassle to get new strings .
Bought a new Hoyt Alpha 30X first week of August this year, and already had to change the factory strings out. They looked 100 years old. Went with Phantom Bloodline P2.
I haven’t changed my string in 10 years and shoot 1000s of arrows a year I finally put new strings on it this year I picked up 10 fps when I changed it I shoot the same bow hunting and for 3D all season long bow still shot good just the serving was wearing heavy trying a small compony on eBay called bad to the bone strings this year was 100 bucks for the string and cables and they seem as well built as my zebras 60x and gas strings were on other bows I’ve shot and replaced for others they are very stiff and a little heavier strand count
Same for me. Serving broke where the string touches the cam after 2500 shots / half a year shooting. GAS replaced the full set as fast as they could. Great customer support.
A3 bloodlines hands down best strings out, bought my bow put the string on shot 10 shots, paper tuned ect, 1.5 years later 2 turkey season, 1 full deer season, just started this season, and well over 2000 shots on it, never stretched, no peep twist, and still look brand new damn near. My gas steings stretch and got peep twist on my other bow under 500 shots, i will not be going back. A3 bloodline no wax either, absolutely love them, they do have a longer wait time but well worth it
Id like to see your guys thoughts on bloodline VEC99 material strings. Waxless and very slick, lighter and less vibration than say a bcy material blend string. I have them from catfish custom strings. Only thing is you need a very grippy serving material to serve in your peep and or knock points etc.
That’s string creep, what most call stretch. Add a couple twists to the cables. Synch the cables, check your draw length on a draw board. Twist string if needed.
My local bow shop inadvertently broke my old Hoyt because they didn’t change my strings when I asked them, the string snapped and bent one of the cams.
Everywhere you've looked? You mean you've asked a PSE dealer to order them from PSE and PSE said they don't have them?....most parts for PSE can only be ordered by a dealer.
Whoever filmed or edited Broll closeups of the Yoke...for almost every time JJ is talking about....this area...or....that area.... Dude...your killing Hs!!!! You Only focused on the Yoke!!!!!

Those strings don’t need to be replaced. They’re fine.
I can only speak for GAS, had center serving separation they sent me out a new string right away!

Carrying your bow by the string is also a concern which causes fraying.
I was told by my shop keep my fingers of the string gets them dirty and stuff from your can contaminate them

There's 20 elk skull caps casually sitting in the corner...
Called click bait
@@tylertherien1558 not a single elk skull cap on the thumb nail dude
If you go back and look at his gym tour in the old building he had them hanging in the rafters and there’s a lot more than 20
Just changed the strings on my Hoyt Saturday.
I’d love to have MFJJ work on my 6 year old Hoyt bow, it’s in need of new strings
I heard that Minetal oil on strings is good to use? How do you feel about that ?
Awesome video, great advice. Needing to replace my strings soon, Hey Dan & MFJJ does podium Archer ship international (to South Africa)??
What about scorpion venom string conditioner It isn’t really a wax? Would that affect longer shots in different weather?
Always used ABB for 12 years until I started having custom strings made.
Would that mean I shouldn’t wax the strings on my target bow as well? Or is that more of a hunting advice only?
MAD G.O.A.T Custom Bowstrings are the ABSOLUTE BEST out there!!!! PERIOD
Why? What makes them better?
Did you say "don't wax your strings" If shooting long distance?
What if we had a sudden drop in poundage, despite the limb bolts being all the way in? (Say, 70 to 68.5lbs)

@@drewolm That’s what I thought, thanks for confirming!

You should get a press. $400 one time has saved me thousands of dollars a year.
Used gas bowstrings last year, was not a fan…
Bearings is my issue, but pse doesn't make or have them.
Everywhere ive looked and no luck 😕

@j.s.3414 I messaged pse, they told me.
@j.s.3414 I've found a top cam, but I need the bottom
Shooting with old string/cables is as smart as driving with dry rotten and bald tires. But people will still do it because "she still drives good".
Good timing as I just ordered new strings at my shop. Only had the bow since January....but I shoot a lot too so probably not too surprising.
Hey Dan your a UV guy like me , if anyone has any questions about the sliders durability, checkout this torture video (SICK!!) 🤙
Got an idea dan take mfjj with you on a elk hunt
Looks like you are switching from GAS to ABB??????????

F' pronouns Dan.
Relax little man, don't get your panties in a bunch.
@ oh,you’re really cool,I better listen to you.
Watch what you say to people that you do not know. Your bear spray and black wardrobe will end up in the trash.
