I may report my list's results (Poland - TH + SolT): Lords of Battle vs WK (beast), Ringwraith, Gorbag & Suladan - 8:2 Fog od War vs AoL (Muzgur, Druzhag, WWC, Goblin Shaman, Goblin Captain) - 9:6 Hold Ground vs Easterling LL (without Rutabi... with Dragon Knight) - 8:0 Reconnoitre vs AoL (Muzgur, Druzhag, Goblin Shaman, Goblin Captain, Orc Shaman, Orc Captain on warg) - 0-12 Divide & Conquer vs WK, Suladan, Gorbag, Ringwraith, Shelob - 1:3 (unlucky dice down before solving all combats near middle objective) To the Death! vs Angmar WK, 2x Orc Captain mtd, Barrow-wight, Shade (10 spectres xD) - 6:1 List was almost always put first in parings. It relay strongly on synergy of Gandalf and Thranduil (Strengthen Will, usually to 4-7 points of Will on leader, or Gandalf making him nice 3/8+1/3). Army bonus is helping opening solid models with D6, other even easier (especially after Naure's Wraith). Palace Guards were very helpful in game vs Emperor when my whole army needed to push back Easterlings from centre of the table, F6 in 5 places was nice. Bodyguard was helpful in last game (vs 10 spectres). I play that kind of list for several years in Poland with quite good results :) I know Gandalf should be a little bit cheaper, but still I am big fan of him - with his spell options he is like Swiss army knife-mage, got spell on all occasions :)
It's an interesting pairing (Thranduil and Gandalf) that I've personally never seen played over here in the UK, but given your practice and success with the list - it's clearly got some good synergies!
Good work folk. Love that you're bigging up the fun legend lists. Don't forget - it's all about the fun. Personally I think every team who hasn't brought a dragon emperor to get bonus brilliant points.
from that final french list, if you move the elfs into leggy's band and drop tauriel, that lets you bring another seven iron hills. taking your total up to 48, and having half of them as a D8 dwarf shieldwall. or only six dwarves, and give all the elves bows. i reckon thats worth losing 3 might for, 10 is still solid. or horde it out, put hilda/captain and another militia mob in th survivors and you could hit 50+ and only lose 1-2 might

The fun is defo important - although I’d argue that 18/20 teams bringing Emperor shows that to some extent, it’s not entirely about the fun 😁😂
