Coffee Table from Salvaged Elm Log

- This coffee table was made from a salvaged American Elm log.
The City of Oklahoma City, rather then running their harvested trees through a chipper, or dumping them in a landfill, is testing out the feasibility of having them slabbed and then selling them at auction.
I bought this elm slab for next to nothing and it turned out to be one of the prettiest pieces of wood I've ever used.
I'm proud that OKC is trying this and I hope they continue.
