I love the Japanese culture and what they’ve brought into the bass community. Geoff, one reason why I enjoy your vids so much. You like the culture as well. Cheers from Lake Fork🇺🇸❤️🇯🇵
btw, seeing your one knee technique while landing that big bass helped me a ton yesterday. My girl and I love your vids and I no shit just bought my gopro today. You're an inspiration big guy
RIght now the ex rate is killer. 50% off paying in JPY with a USD credit card ! Found a new tackle shop in the center of Kyoto. I'll be there in about 10 days. Great video ! Thanks for sharing all the baits.
Hey Geoff so that jackall slick bait that bait was really intriguing to me when you guys got them in the store and that's what I was saying I think to ben or griff it would be badass to watch you fish that bait along those canyon walls you fish alot with your drt's 🙏👊🏼
The dog and anything colored out of the ordinary, concept is what is being looked for, as far as the appearance or making slight modifications, a professional paint job is where the particular bait will shine.
More Japanese tackle store content?? Just finished a trip there and are there any other cool stores besides joshuya, tackleberry, lure 1ban, bunbun, fishing Max? They were all dope
We have a place here where during the winter thousands of gizzard shad come up to the shore and feed off the algae on the rocks I feel like that slick bait will be perfect in that scenerio
@crazybassfisher advise to Keep Slickbait tail holder that comes in package handy…will melt your other bait if left with out. Don’t ask me why I know.🤦🏻♂️ glad it comes with xtra tail. Great vid. Cool baits!
Dude, I love you channel. Been watching forever. I have a couple questions Japan related if you can help… For my son’s graduation from high school we are going to Japan for most likely 10 to 14 days. He loves skateboarding and music, I am a bass brain through and through, my wife loves the crafting/writing stuff that Japan is the best at… I know there’s not a lot of space here, but could you tell me where the three of us might all be most excited to be? thanks again, keep doing your thing
For your son, skateboarding and music is really popular in Osaka, Osaka gives off a much younger vibe. That place he would love. For you, if you could some how get away for a day and make it to Lake Biwa, then that would be the jam, tons of tackle shops and bass fishing really runs that area! For your wife, I’m sure Kyoto would be the deal, more traditional live style there. Plus, if you go to Kyoto, Lake Biwa is only 15 minutes away by train!
@@crazybassfisher this is rock solid. Thanks, Geoff! Osaka is right in line with previous tips we’ve had. The others will definitely hit our list. You ever visit Maine, we have some insane bass fishing and it’s still mostly low key. Epic lakes/ponds everywhere and I’d share my 17’ tin rig all day in exchange for some big bait knowledge drops. Not to mention INSANE WEATHER spring and fall, the big bite is ON. Stay well 👊
I fished with the dream Express lure in Germany for pike and when you hard jerk with the rod this lure makes a 180 degree spin and ends Up in start Position really nice
Any Japan footage???? I’m really trying to get into glide and swimbait techniques but it breaks the bank. I’ll waiting my kids are out of the house.🤣Thanks for sharing you new baits 😎🤙💪🎣💯🤛🏻
Man that bloody flash carp 175 is sick. I actually lost a 175 this last summer in the butch brown bass colour so maybe I'll try a flash carp (or variant) when I replace it. Cheers.
Convince Ben to carry the Candy Fish, please! Hearing my brother say "you've got to be F'n kidding me" every time I pop a fish on crazy Japanese lures never gets old for me.
Hey Geoff, I noticed you're holding the "2017" version of the Imakatsu Aventa crawler. Is that one specifically the "good" one? I notice TW carries an "Aventa RSR" where the wings are positioned toward the back of the bait. Is the RSR a good bait as well? Or were you only talking about the "2017" version? Thanks in advance.
Could be nice to do a video about multi joints swimbaits because it seems like you uses them a lot less than glides in the US. In France I think they are used more than glidebaits. The most famous is probably the balam, bbz trouts, biwaa strout, seven, swimpike… hmkl alive bait 140 sp is pretty cool too. I have some castaic bd shad copies which are probably copies of the bull shad.
Nice good stuff. Not a fan of fire tiger but you love “baby bass” and “bass”… same thing, green with black lines only fire tiger usually has a hint of orange and or chartreuse which is never a bad thing and fish see chartreuse as white anyways
2 things, 1. my favorite crawler besides mine is the imakatsu all wood gill! 2. I inboxed ya. I have a box for you I brought to the gathering but you weren’t there this year. Should I send it to the shop? Sending you a Dragon, Big D and Little d. Did some all new Birds and the Dragon is just insane!
Yeah, I was in Japan and couldn’t make it to the gathering this year! Was it a good turn out this year? Send the box to the shop and I’ll get it there!
My niece is heading to Japan early next year and she’s gonna pickup some DRT klash baits for me. How much do they cost there in US currency? And what are the more popular tackle shops should she take a look in?
Good stuff. Buying direct from japan saves at minimum 30% compared to the USA. Prices are at least half, no sales tax and FedEx only cost about $20. I am surprised more people do not do that. btw, would love to see that Pinky in the water f you can get to it.
Dude, I hate to pry, but where do you get the money to buy all this gear, baits, Japan trips, a d your extensive collection of expensive rods and reels? I know it's really none of my business, but I'm beginning to think you are an extremely wealthy man! Love all of your videos and tips! John McHatton

That’s awesome man! Thanks for watching the videos! I really appreciate it!
Mihara is the man. How he hunts the fish by reading the terrain is really fascinating. That pellet pug he made is money.
Fishing with Mihara was very cool. Completely different than how I have ever fished before!
@@crazybassfisher What is the name of that bluegill glide bait that Mihara developed, I can’t find it anywhere.

I can't afform to go to Japan, but I can go to Ebay!
eBay is pretty close to the real thing 😂
U and thehookup have made bassfishing so fun for me again. thx dude
