I am begging you, if you do make this a full park, to have Jäegerhorn be a part of it as well. I think I remember you mentioning in that series how you wanted it to also feel like an area of a larger park, plus it would save you a lot of work on having to do an alpine theme. I’m also just very partial to Jäegerhorn and would love to see it get a second life ;v
A neat idea would be to possibly incorporate a desert dunes section where by banking the cars so one side drops lower than the other would kick up dust effects. These being triggered to make it look as if the wings of the stork are kicking up dust from being so close to the ground. Could even have the ride dive into a stone cave from that point with large desert rocks and scrubby foliage to ease it back into the dark ride section. Have a treasure cave guarded by arabian knights. All food for thought! Love the vids coming out again!
If Silvarret was into FPS shooters and that game had an intuitive and easy-to-use level editor I guarantee that Silvarret would be interesting in making levels in Prodeus and see what kind of challenging and interesting maps he could make with it. Prodeus is a Quake-and-Doom-style FPS with a modern-style to it. Some people made great maps with the level editor they even remade the Mario 64 Peach Castle.
Even though I'm a pure PlanZo player, it's so crazy to see me still learning new techniques and skills from a PlanCo video. I've been lucky enough to spend a while of my life in Morocco, and the architecture motifs you've carried out in here bring back some very fond memories of mine wandering those streets. So incredible to see the master at work, amazing job so far, and cheers Silv!
I'm amazed at how you manage to set up things do nicely, if I didn't watch the video and didn't know your channel I'd be sure that this were pre-made buildings
On the topic of starting a coaster with a dark ride section, Hansa-Park in Northern Germany is really good at this, and they both even incorporate the queue into it for their two largest coasters.
Silv, you are a bad influence you know... You are making me want to go back and waste another 2000 hours of my life in builidng stuff again in Planet Coaster with this videos lol
So glad these videos are back! Loving the look of all the building in this one. If I may be so bold, one suggestion for the coaster; maybe have the purple track take the “roll” more as an airtime hill without the banking at the end of it. The 90-degree bank back to flat kind of looks and feels awkward as a transition
I'm clearly one of your biggest fan haha !! Love it so much ! It looks very easy to you to find the right combination of objects to use for your buildings, congrats !
I love the façade of the new building! Seems so alive with all the details. Can't wait to see the plaza in front of it filled with guests, walking around the fountain and with the building complexes on the background
I love how this is coming along - really interesting to hear about the many things you consider about theming and transitions between areas too. Speaking of themes: the tentative station layout with unusually wide parallel tracks and the paths reminds me of grand railway terminals with large arched train shed over the platforms and foot bridges and tunnels for passengers, which seems like a plausible theme (though not necessarily Persian?)... 🤔
Wow i love that you’re going to make a dark ride section. Btw, maybe you could try to turn a couple of small portions of the facade into little shops, stalls or toilets, so there’s some kind of function and there’s more interaction with the buildings from the guests. Already loving how this build is looking
Maybe hide the return of the track into the station by letting it go underneath the bridge you already have there and not have a path too close on that side of the station building? That would give a good amount of shadow to hide it.
So glad you're back! Perhaps, if you are going with the geographical part of theming, you can call this potential park 'the silk road' as it goes from the middle east into Europe, and perhaps can be open to India and China in the future.
Lovely, lovely theming and architecture! I wonder if you've ever been to Disney Sea in Tokyo, they have an Arabian area and do a great job with the immersion. For transitions between indoor and outdoor, some kind of fabric tent / canopy structures could hide some views of the interior, and would be a transition from sunlight to the dark ride section. Anyway, wonderful to see your videos again!
Your videos got me back into trying my hand at Planet Coaster again. I'll admit it can be really overwhelming but it's so fun to just lose yourself in it!
I love how maakedbandit does his connifer slope series where i just Shows his progress with jumps, so there are no timelapses and you just See the Park grow. Its wo much nicer than just watch Ing timelapses and you really See the progress
You must have really strong spatial awareness skills, I can't even solve those cube puzzle things in IQ tests half of the time, let alone wrap my head around how to build a coaster like this without the cars touching any of the scenery
I missed you and your Planet Coaster videos so much. I'm so glad to see you back and I can't wait to see how this will turn out because right now, it's AMAZING! Congrats and welcome back :D
Absolutely love this series so far, especially your approach on maybe expanding it. Also those TMTK items look fantastic. Any plans on making a collection of the ones you use?
Love the idea of a little Flying Dutchman-esque darkride section for a themed coaster like this! Will you be incorporating the story into the que aswell?
I just wanna ask? Do you have a surviving link to the Francescoaster Catwalks Set since RealTycoon3 has shut down. I have been meaning to find it again!
One idea for which side is which could be intensity, like how John Wick in Dubai is divided between protagonist and antagonist, although that's just a free spin
This is looking really good so far, Silv! The attention to detail in everything is superb!! Are you likely to include a flat ride(s) within this themed area? And if so, what rides do you think you'd go with? Also I'm not sure if you've considered it, but one thing I always like to do with coasters is add the final break run and holding sections before I finish the layout. It always helped me know where to aim for with the final layout and keeps the realistic safety aspect of adding blocked sections to the coasters. Of course, no worries if not. Look forward to part 3! :)
I've tried to come up with a flatride that would suit the theme and area, but it's difficult. I've got something planned though! The same goes for the ending, there will be some space reserver for a transfer track and the like.
@@Silvarret Well I bet it's going to look amazing! This has been a really clever theme and very enjoyable to watch, looking forward to seeing how the dark ride section before the lift turns out!
Just excellent as always!! For the fountain could you do light blue 'shape' as the waterline and add the 'waterfall splash/ripple' effects unit in the middle?
I went to walibi (biddinghuizen) with my daughter last monday....had a amazing time..but wth happened to the condor???....feels worst then a wooden rollercoaster atm!...wish this coaster was build there....wouldnt mind riding this one!....thanks for sharing and keep it up!....ps...blij om je weer terug te zien!
Hi Silv, big fan! Would it be possible for you to have a list of all the TMTK items you use? Its hard to separate the diamonds from the rough on the steam page
Love the theme here! I made a persian castle/city in minecraft once, mostly fantasy-romantisized persian inspired but the tricky part for me was finding good refference. did you look at refference? and what if I might ask. Cheers and keep up the good work :)
i feel like in real life, the town square would have like little street stalls/ shops in it like a market. easy to imagine that, impossible to build in PC.
Is that the finalized queue layout? How are you gonna handle that with the dark ride section? One will have a a double queue line really close to it, while the other won’t
No, there will be many changes to the station lay-out in time! But my plan is to have the queues be almost fully indoors, and below/beside the darkride section and station area.
Well, Greece and the Balcans don't have "Ottoman inspired architecture", they have Ottoman architecture, as the area was under Ottoman rule for over 4 centuries
@@Silvarret lmao dude I just miss your style of building so much I wish you would have had 3 episodes pre recorded before you had to tease us like this 😂😂 take your time man I know it’s going to be another legendary video when it comes out … love you silv
I didn't knew how much I missed you talking about weenies
"Silv's Weenies - They're huge!"
I swear this comment only makes sense in the context of my channel, lol
Has Silv ever put a hotdog stand in a weenie?

Super impressive! I had a similar concept idea for this coaster type and I think you nailed this one!
Really nice use of the thememaker's toolkit items! Those textures alone makes me want to jump back into Planet Coaster
That's sort of what happened when I saw other people use them (seriously, huge shoutout to Fuaranna for making thkse grime decals)!

Another great video Silv, I’m really glad you’re back I missed watching your videos. I’m gonna watch part three right after this one!
You could use billboards with a water texture on them to add water to the fountain.

It’s so nice being able to take a break and chill out to some coarse making, really glad your back man!
For the fountain some glass panes from tmtk actually work pretty well as water, i think you have to tint the glass a little to make it work

Off camera meta is nice. Little do people know Alpine Odyssey has been done for 5 years and just never released
Cheeky. My strategy is usually the opposite, just release a "final" video hiding the unfinished parts and calling it a day.

I will! I've been stuck on Victoria Island for a while, but I'll retry it soon and this time I hole I'll be successful :')
Footchoppers on a ride with a floor?
Wait if the seats are side-mounted doesn't that mean you would have to detail the top of the queue building instead of it being a greybox?
cant u get water decals from the theme maker toolkit for the fountian?
Try making a launched Star Wars Free Fly.
i'm sure there doing fine is wild😭
19:50 pretty sure this just applies to all European stuff, look at European castles/fortresses.
