The acting was actually alright, but some of the cgi in the first 15-20 minutes was iffy.
The cinematography and screenplay is excellent and the story is extremely well crafted and structured, with lots of twists, mystique and intrigue.
For a PG film it was great and the outro song is great as well. That leaves a nice sweet end.

They were deliberately acting in that style, bc it’s a PG film. It gets a lot better 20+ minutes in.
How disappointing to try and watch a movie that is jerky.... Can be irritating on the eyes..
I just finished watching and saw none of what you say you experienced.
