It must really suck being under the rule of the Spider king. You just have to stand there all day watching Dakkar playing with a Tarantula. It's like, "Do you mind if I go do some marching drills, or practice my sword fighting if you're just gonna stand there all day cooing at that thing?"
I listened to the Gateway tapes yesterday n today remembered this movie i saw as a child n remembered every scene n every part for the first time in over 30 years👀 Mindblowing.
That scene in the Land of the Walking Dead was golden, they just all disappeared and then a hard cut to the inn lmao. Props to the little bear for running along after them the whole movie.
Ator is an amazing movie. This kind of old skool movies are thousand times better than modern movies from these days where we live in. The respectful acting of the high priest (enemy) is thousand times better than main role (good guy) in any modern movie.
LMAO! Look, I love all 3 Ator movies, but they are junk. I couldn't disagree more as far as Conant is concerned. Ator is the worst scripted, acted, directed, effects, everything. Conant stared Arnold, James Earl Jones, and was directed by Oliver Stone. The swords in Conan although not sharpened, were actually made by smiths. You can totally tell those swords in Ator are mass produced junk, made out of shit steel. Then Ator is lugging around that bedroom mirror like it's a shield. Just look at the horrible horrible choreography in the fight scenes. And then there's that giant Muppet spider at the end.
@@krishrama I watched the first Beastmaster directly after Conan the other day and it's surprisingly good. Very cheesy, but it's got endearing characters and some cool fantasy places and creatures (like those weird eagle/bat men).
Got it! The "shield of immortality" is love (self-love, that is) and "death" is richness/power, just as in real life. This movie needs a reboot coz the story is amazing and the bear cub stole the show.
its been 20 years since i watched this treasure on vhs Miles of Keefe is a great actor liked him in sword of the Valiant with Sir Sean Connery and the Ator sequel as well i am very happy to have found this awesome movie on the vhs they wrote the son of torren as Thorn though i guess the pronounciations wer a lil different then but i didn't mind any i love a good sword n sorcery movie thank you for posting this treasure.
45:04 The best scene in this flick 😍🤣😎 I have been looking for this flick for awhile. Believe it or not, this was my first flick that I saw on my first date; I was 14 years old. She picked this flick and I didn't mind because we went to 3rd base. Damn, I am old. 🤣 Be safe and be 😎
That queen spider at the end looks as threatening as hilarious, as if she was grinning while saying "come closer, buggy- eeeer buddy, so that I can see you better...". She waves her legs more octopus-like than spider-like, but well, it´s okay. In fact, spiders were the only thing that drew me to watch this movie back in my teen hood (I was fascinated about movies featuring large spiders). As a whole, I would say that this was an entertaining low-budget production, and it was until very recently that I always believed that it was a B-movie AMERICAN production, which means that it´s not bad at all to be an European movie, if I'm not wrong.
"Skyrim belongs too the Nords!" Ator and Kiog are an adventurous duo That spider sure has a lot of hit points This reminds me of "Red Sonja" Arnold Schwarzenegger and I can't quite remember who plays Red?
I remember when this aired on NBC in the mid 80s i didn't know what country it was from it introduced me to the beautiful Sabrina Siani the Italian Brooke Shields she also did Blue Island a Blue Lagoon Italian knock off and White Cannibal Queen a Searchers knock off
This movie took me back to a much simpler world. Thankyou.
Thank you 😊
I only watched this because of Edmund Purdom...loved him...
I love the way kiog the Bear 🐻 takes care of itself... it's very smart 😍👏👋
one of best movies acted by Miles O'Keeffe. He is great in SAS Mako as well
I liked him in Waxwork horror movie as a vampire.
Undeniably one of the movies of all time
Yes, it is undeniable one of the movies of all time...as are all movies

Yeah, they got the weird incest fantasy out of the way right at the beginning.
So great old movie, the baby bear is amazing 😊great cast.❤thanks for uploading
I love the cute baby 🐻 bear💖in the movie. The story of the movie is inadequate story.

Yes, I'm in to these old movies more than modern day movies. I love the acting in those days.
Are you actually serious?
It's like a Conan and Red Sonja.Good entertainment and good memories from childhood at.'80
Thing is, these movies are popular because this is the future after the collapse.
more so cause we liked conan the barbarian. 80s arnie version tho. 👍classic.
not the atrocious remake with aquaman dude...
Not a chance, this Time God will end this miserable world.

Love these 80s Conan like movies
Yes,so nice right I like it very much. Am a woman from Philippines

This is a good movie in the style of The,Conan and Beastmaster movies

much to my surprise, the sword that the high priest of the spider kingdom, is the same sword that lou ferrigno used in the 1983 film, Hercules
i just loved the little bear
Fantastic story 😀🦘

The bear cub is so adorable. Stay right there during the whole movie.
Better than a Neil Breen movie, this caused no pain to me.
Good movie,all day
That little bear was well-trained and adorable. He was the best! This movie had similarity to that of the Beastmaster/Conan films, but not as good.
THE BEAR CUB WAS THE FILM AND YES IT DID HAVE A BETTER CAREER THAN ANYONE ELSE IN THE FILM. FOR THE BEAR😁
She’s not your sister. They told him so bluntly, lol.
I've loved this movie since I was a kid. Don't care how "bad" it might be lol
At least it’s better than todays crap today there’s no creativity or imagination or good storytelling just sequels remakes left and right
Please how old is this movie?

The Spider-King will never let your spirits down once you get him off the street. He's a Superfreak, Superfreak, He's Superfreaky.
"… Being drawn like a virgin to the nuptial bed. " OMG😂
Tulsa Doom gave a good intro to this movie.
Woow nice movie, i love it ❣️❤️😘😘🥰
The acting, the plot, and the unrealistic fancy costumes made me never want to endure this again.
What an amazing Conan the Barbarian inspiration⚔👏👏
Ator the fighting eagle good movies
The bear was the best actor.
The conversation about brother marrying his sister and the other way around was underlined well. They are NOT siblings and can marry each other.
The last song on the credits sounds like "For Your Eyes Only"
20:45 where Eddie Murphy got the choreography in Coming to America 😅
1:30:00 end title song absolutely slays.
Kinda sounds like For Your Eyes Only
One good think i loved❤about was the small black bear
