    Bradley as you say was unfortunately a very ill child. He got invited to be mascot of his favourite football team Sunderland and formed a bond with their star striker (and England international) Femaine Defoe. Even after Defoe moved on he kept in touch with Bradley and his family. He tried to help but unfortunately the boy died. You can see Jemaine was heart broken (that's him crying when asked about Bradley post death at a pre match press conference).

    Some real tear jerkers here, but I agree with what you said, there needs to be some captions showing a bit of context as not everything is apparently obvious for those that don't follow the world of football.

    Thanks Tysheen! "Somebody said, football is a matter of life and dead, but it is so much more important"! As an US citizen it is maybe hard to understand the impact/influence/dreams/hope these players are/were, have/had for every young boy or girl or to anybody in the world. You can go anywhere in the world, except the US, and ask any child, who is Ronaldo, Messi or Maradona etc. and they will tell you! I have seen many documentaries about a tribe/people/village in the deepest jungle, never seen or have an actual contact with "white men", but when you give them a football, the whole village is "on fire"! And you have friends for life.

    8:30 It's Bastian Schweinsteiger. He was just crying over the end of his career in the national team and the love he gets from the German audience. We have big rivalries here in Germany (all over Europe) among clubs and fans but sometimes there is a player that is loved by the whole nation. Schweinsteiger is one of those. In 2014 when Germany won the world cup, he became something like a hero because he got tackled and punched all the time, he was even bleeding, but he didn't cry like nearly every other player does. He stood up and fought on and on. We won the title because we had Schweinsteiger this day.

    Diago Maradona had issues with drink and drugs after his career.
    Despite knocking England out of the 1986 World Cup quarter finals with his hand of god goal he was a brilliant player.

    You seem like you really like Cristiano Ronaldo so I suggest you react to "Cristiano Ronaldo Respect Moments" and you will find it much more emotional. He's a very emotional person himself that's why so many people love him! Good luck Tysheen ❤️

    Hi Tysheen, @11.42-12.02 I believe despite scoring, the team had just lost an important match (perhaps the final whistle having just been blown). Judging by the colours, I think (?), it is the Dutch team Ajax, perhaps in the UEFA Champions League competition.

    • @benjaminbronnimann3966
      @benjaminbronnimann3966 2 года назад +2

      Yes Ajax was winning 2-0 in the champions league semifinal. Just as they were about to make it to their first final in 23 years as complete underdogs, Lucas Moura (Tottenham player) scored a hattrick in the 2nd half and Ajax lost 2-3 after being up 2-0 and the deciding goal was scored with literally the last kick of the game in the 96th minute, that's why everybody broke down crying, cause they were literally seconds away from making the final.

    Diego Maradona was a cheating, recreational drug user, and wife beater, who cheated England in the 1986 World Cup Quarter Final by punching the ball into the net, which was unseen by the referee.
    However he was also one of the best players in the world, and seemed like a good laugh.

    • @sabinasabina2010
      @sabinasabina2010 2 года назад +2

      He did not cheat, the ref missed it. Think logically, how many handballs are there every week in football, thousands. How many players stop and say ermmmm excuse me ref I think you missed that, I'll stop and give the ball back- none! Unless the ref sees it stops it lol

      all goes back to my original point, what player in the history of football has ever stopped and said 'hold on you missed this ref, I fouled, I put the boot in too high, I was offside, I used my hand, it's the other's team's ball because it came off my shin???????????' How is Maradona any different, and yet he is always called a cheat because it happened against England. And I am an England fan 50 plus years.....

      Semi Final*. It was probably an honest mistake. I remember that day so clearly. I was unable to watch the game so I kept checking on the scores and as an Arsenal fan I was laughing at Tottenham when I saw they were 3 - 0 down on aggregate, believing they were out. Then I didn't check till the game was over and as I opened google I was thinking "Imagine Tottenham actually did it" then I laughed at myself and in my disbelief I saw they actually made one of the best comebacks ever and won
