mine not dead but when below 20 degree Centigrade on maximum brightness it starts blinking, screen gets green and phone can turn off. could be the problem be like this?
After trying almost all available solutions , i have not found yet a solution. History. I have tried too many custom roms... Two weeks ago I started trying new custom kernels. After last kernel I tried ( dont remember name) , so smartphone did not work properly and then immediately I used Odin Mobile Pro to install the official Samsung Rom . The phone started fine , HOWEVER it cannot connect to PC (usb problem "PC does not recognise source" ..however it is charged) , it has not IMEI (null) , WIFI closes automatically closes when i open it, internet access unavailable and finally SIM is not recognised. I can only use BLUETOOTH and this only in connection to PC. So it remains a usable phoneONLY as a game machine playing games i have already preinstalled in the SD. I didREAD in a post of yous that there is a custom recovery zippable via the stock recovery. I tried Philz...along TWRP/CWM ... but nothing.. Everytime i faced a E: Footer wrong..unavailable etc messages. Please. Any solution is welcome. Because I am near a month without a phone.

I heat the GPU on the board of the Lg G Pro Lite D685 it wet and it does not turn on and I did not find either a short component and the bacada source when I connect the board showed a consumption of 0.10 cc. The board switched on only once with consumption of 0.24 cc. Help me please.

i've seen you use two substances in the process. one is white when removing chip and the other is brown when installing chip. what is the difference between those two? can i just use the brown one only?

When you connected the Galaxy S4 to the power supply in this video, the current reading is the same that you measure in another video where you have to replace the power IC chip, how do you recognize which chip is bad in each case, if the measure is the same on the power supply. The second question, do you use any special liquid to remove the black resin surrounding most of the iphone ic chips??, and most of the time this resin is even underneath those chips. I have tried to remove this resing but is really hard. When you clean every PCB after removing the chips how do you remove the black resin?? + steven webb I don't know if you were given an answer to your question but yes you can replace the cpu ic as it is just another bga chip (ball grid array) and can be removed and replaced just like any of the bga chips that you have seen replaced already.

I know this video is for S4 but I really need help. I have a HTC One X that I am trying to recover my files and contacts from but I'm not sure if the light driver (which also charges the battery) is faulty or if the PMIC is faulty. PMIC warms up a little bit and the phone's charge LED does not light up. I did notice that the backlight flickered on medium or low settings when the phone was working but I was told this happens on all HOX's. Please help... Where do I start? Thanks.

Last time the phone was working, I put the phone on charge, phone said 'Charging', phone went to sleep after a few seconds then a couple hours later when I went to wake the phone up it was dead. I tried to reboot the phone and I also tried to enter HBOOT but the phone would not even indicate any sign of life with its LED when I plugged it into the charger. I was in the same room the whole time and I didn't hear the phone reboot or anything before it failed.

checking driver voltage output in the coil
and after diode
Kris B i think he find a short in vbat line so he injekt the volt and find a heat in the
Lighte driver

i think ~405 degrees is usually used (for the iron also)
