I did the same thing with Rice Krispie Treats! (The cereal made into candybar) It looked so much cooler than frosting or anything like that, and it tasted great too. I never thought of using this for rice, very cool
I just got my Tea and I tried it with a little bit of lemon and a little bit of almond extract. It's pretty and interesting. I can't wait to do more. Thanks for your video! 🪻
I loved the green matcha tea mixed with the beautiful blue and the milk! So beautiful! Very very nice video And yes those are very cool and beautiful ❤️ Thank you so much!
I had this several years ago at a restaurant in a "magic cocktail" (Google butterfly pea flower cocktails). Recently I was in SF Chinatown and bought some at Red Blossom Tea Company. I personally don't think it has a discernable taste at all - just good for hydration and all the health benefits. I can't wait to try the lavender lemonade, matcha latte and buy some powder. Thank you for such an informative video!
Ooh, Almond extract sounds like the perfect thing to neutralize the taste of.. well.. "Hay" lol. I know that's just how tea is. I'm still new, but thank you! This video inspired me to take it out and try again
maybe but because the orange has less acid in it will probably not have the same effect but since lemons have a lot more acid than oranges it would have a greater effect
There's one called a Spurred Butterfly Pea that is native to the southern/southeastern untiled states. I wonder if they can be used for the same purpose?
lol this grows like weeds in my backyard....i had to get rid of some of it...its not everyday that i cook blue food or tea xD...so i dont need it that much. We used it to cook blue rice and sweets.
Because blue tea is a base and citric acid (lemon juice) is acid so, when we mix it together and when acid and base reacts together it will change colour
Your recipe is awesome and will go very high.of course it will be very tasty to eat.😋 I love it .I will definitely try it.You will tell me in the comments. How do you like my recipe?Thanks....👍👏😋🌼💢
I think its natural blue color is amazing in itself adding lemon kinda ruins it. Its extremely rare for this blue color in foods and nature, only blue spirulina is truly blue.
Nice! Your videos should be seen by more watchers. May I repost your channel without changing anything on the clean platform named Ganjing World? Thank you!
I haven’t personally tried it, but that should work! The general rule is to use 3x the volume of dried herbs when using fresh. So if a recipes calls for 1 tsp dried herbs, use 3 tsp of fresh herbs. Hope that helps!
Not trying to draw too much attention, but I have to ask? What is wrong with the cream and milk that you used in the last drink? The iced latte matcha sweet cream? I had to rewatch it just to make sure I wasn't seeing things or possibly not seeing something added to the cream or milk that maybe made them do whatever that was such as added herbs or vanilla etc ...? It looks like maybe the cream was bad or it wasn't sealed properly to keep it fresh and from becoming dried out along the neck of the tea bottle. Also, it looks about the same for the milk jug, maybe the old one wasn't on good or tight enough and I was waiting for him to let go. Also, maybe they were out of date and we were only trying to use them only for the purpose of showing how to make them and the steps you go through and theh weren't planning to drink them after the making them.. That would make more sense.. Thank you
The milk hadn’t gone bad! That particular brand of milk isn’t homogenized, so the cream rises to the top and some of it gets thick at the top. It’s basically like a bit of clotted cream or Devonshire cream. Its actually quite delicious! It’s also not pasteurized at as high of a temperature as most milk and cream sold in the US. So it does go sour sooner.
You've never had hot tea? Wow. That's a first. Hot tea is great on a cold evening, or even morning when it's breezy. Some sugar, or honey. Great. Does wonders from a sore throat

In Malaysia we made the rice blue by soakinh rice with the butterfly pea flower. It’s not just for tea.

i have these plant flowering since many years in my backyard , I;m from Mumbai , and recently I found out its medicianal benefit!
You know these flowers grow in my school and at time of dispersal I pluck 5 to 10 flowers everyday to make this tea😅

If you add orange to the tea will it also change colours?

Great video just what I was looking for with the blue Matcha
Thanks for this helpful video
You're amazing girl❤
Where is that mug from that you used for the hot latte? So pretty can’t wait to try these recipes at home. I think my kids will enjoy this.
It’s the white Boulder mug from Miya Company.
There's one called a Spurred Butterfly Pea that is native to the southern/southeastern untiled states. I wonder if they can be used for the same purpose?
May i know whether the butterfly pea loses its nutrional values if lemon is added?
Never seen this before, thanks
I want to use this to make a blue absinthe.
So its just for color? What does it taste like?
I got my drink to turn yellowish pink but I think that's because I added lemon when there was already pineapple in the tea bag. Still good tho!
This is fantastic so pretty
Can I just use the fresh leaves in hot water and drink it directly?
At 2:09 she says to remove the steeper and drink as is, or add whatever else you want to it. So yes, you can.
You can also buy it in regular tea bags.
It tastes amazing

I’m wondering if I can use almond milk instead of whole milk?
I have not personally tried it, but it should work. I prefer oat milk to almond milk for lattes, but that's just my personal preference!

Do you live in the US? How do you grow it?
May I know why onces the lemon juice on to it will turn to purple colour ?
I'm not sure about how it works on a super deep level, but apparently when you change the pH when you add the lemon, that's what affects the color.
Because blue tea is a base and citric acid (lemon juice) is acid so, when we mix it together and when acid and base reacts together it will change colour

Waoo that's a lot of sugar!!
That’s a lot of work just to be trendy. I’ll stick with my Earl Grey
The butterfly pea tea also comes in tea bags so you can be lazy and still have blue tea if you want. Add a slice of lemon and get purple tea.
