Hi. Sorry if this question is a bit silly but I just fixed a vcr and wanted to know if I record a 4:3 spongebob episode off nick would the vcr record it in 16:9?

It would most likely be in 16:9 but with black bars. Hope this helped (also it's not a silly question)
