good question. We technically only have 2 seasons as the other ones dont last for more than about 2 weeks. Our winter starts in either late September or early October and typically ends in March so we have around 6-7 months of winter.
I mean sure, 6 months without darkness probably sucks for a lot of people, but I think the winter months, where there is next to no sunlight, are probably even worse xd
@@exkayjay8751 yea makes sense it's near the polls but it is mostly dark everyday and also some sunlight in the winter but in other parts of the polls like svallbard maybe greenland then it's dark for like 6 months or more
The worst part is that in winters this is almost the other way around, almost months of darkness. I can't even imagine how these people haven't gone crazy already. That's like torture
Nordic countries get more seasonal depression, more related to winter months because most go to work before the sunrise and get off of work after the sunset.
Actually a majority of burglaries happen during the day because it's more likely that the occupants aren't home and the thrives get more time to rob you. Murderers and rapists more often strike at night as it would be easier to guess where you are going to be (at home asleep) and they can get closer to you as they are concealed by the darkness.
I do pray each day and one part I say is “thank you sun for rising, for giving us your light and thank you for setting” I learnt it at an early age. Much love, From India
I live in Iceland it's pretty nice but it's never dark only in the winter so if you go to Iceland I would live in Mosfellsbær and go in Lágafellsskóla it's good so make sure to visit her have a nice day 😊
Can't imagine a life without sunset and sunrise. Sunset gives feeling of nostalgia, the memories. Sunrise gives you hope and feeling of a fresh page, a new start of the day. Thanks for reading, means a lot! 🙂
Look. We do have them. Just.. not all the time. In winter we have about 4 to 6 hrs of daylight depending on where you are in the scandinavian countries (borwegian myself and having lived in mid Norway most my life now living in South of Norway i can tell you its a huge difference)

svo mikið fax
How many months is your winter
good question. We technically only have 2 seasons as the other ones dont last for more than about 2 weeks. Our winter starts in either late September or early October and typically ends in March so we have around 6-7 months of winter.
