Did you guys notice that the lion timon and pumba are throwing themselves at is scar, i assume it's a genuine flashback of the lion king 2019
I'm excited to see the Mufasa prequel story!! The original 1994 Lion King has always been my favorite Disney movie of all time. The 2019 live action remake was one of the good Disney remakes. so i'm excited for the Mufasa movie during the holiday season.
Blue ivy is playing simba and nala daughter and i read that rafiki is telling the story of mufasa to kiara so we gobna see the present and past with mufasa as a young cub
OK after reading the description mufasa is voice by Aaron Pierre who is almost 30 so I don't think james is back but Keith David is voicing mufasa father
Some of it is being told in flashbacks as Rafiki talks to Kiara, Simba & Nala daughter about the story of her grandfather
My boy Mufasa was the best character in Lion King hands down wish this movie was 2D tho

Simba as King didn't fuck around & gave no passes, was Aggessive, Meaner & exiling in Simba's Pride. Scar would've been exiled if Simba was King.

I'd like a good reason in this movie of why Scar truly hated Mufasa other than plain jealousy. Maybe something happened between them in their youth that Scar could never forgive or forget.

A Mufasa story sounds great I’m intrigued
The thing I dont like about live action lion king is they cant recreate that majestic ass mane of Mufasa. The mane made him look royal and regal and in contrast Scars look with the dingy mane made him look wicked. These sorry ass designs dont convey the essence of the story and characters.
Should be noted that Simba & Nala’s son is being played by Beyonces daughter!!
They have books about him which is incredible. I believe it was fan made but so accurate. There’s a story about his grandfather as well. Mufasa tells his story to Simba when they were stationed n at the stars In the movie during simba’s punishment.

@eliravenel5969 Simba>> all them...Simba was his best in Simba's Pride..Simba Strong, escaping traps, tossing multiple Zira's lioness off him, was Agressive, Meaner, exiling. Mufasa was too passive & should've exiled Scar years ago.

Finally we get to see the origin story of MUFASA. Trailer looks good, i just hope the story is good.
Looks like a step in the right direction whereby we get a fresh story focusing on exploring an important character in Lion King franchise which is new and frankly exciting.
This is a good way to expand the lore.
I will definitely be checking it out to judge it on its own merits.

I wasn't down with this trailer, but I like what this could lead too. They've already done some backstories on villains/major characters, and I would mind if they did more. Do a Scar backstory. Frolo from The Hunchback of Notre Damn.

The fear of lions should come from Scar not Mufasa
The idea of mufasa having an Origin is a new idea and different take. I do understand jodys point though on simba he was catching paws by scar someone who really looked at him as a hoe. If yall dont remember its when simba comes back to pride rock and everyone was shocked and thought it was mufasa and even for that split second scar was Shitting bricks but when he realized it was simba he went back to treating him like a punk🤣🤣🤣🤣 but simba has that dawg in him especially if anyone has seen simba's pride which is what i thought we'd originally would get. But James earl jones deserves to at least have something in this movie.

Simba as king in Simba's Pride was Physically Stronger, Meaner than Mufasa. Mufasa was too nice letting Scar stay in the pridelands & manipulating Sheet & slicktalking & not showing up to simba presentation & sheet without any consequences. Simba was physically tossing all Zira's lioness off him & exiling everybody. Simba didn't take no bullsheet or disrespect. Scar would've been gone from the pridelands if Simba was King. Also keep in mind Scar Uncle whike Simba was Nephew so of course Scar go feel he has some advantage while Mufasa big bro & probably been whooping Scar ass physically all their lives. It Still didn't stop Scar from talking back to Mufasa & scheming tho. But Scar was running from Simba until cornered to fight & he had to throw fire in Simba face to feel the need to get an advantage. Scar was still the Busta. Simba>> Mufasa

But before once he realized he wasn't mufasa he went right back to trying to punk simba in front of everyone I just wished that simba had that energy he had in simba's pride in the first one when he went back to confront scar. @jaymecca285 Simba pressed Scar right away to exile or fight when he returned. Scar was scared & had to use that make simba feel responsible sheet again for killing Mufasa in front of all them. Once Simba jumped back up on that ledge on top of Scar saying Murderer after Scar revealed he killed Scar then Scar realized he fucked up 🤣🤣 & was running scared until he was cornered. That was another example of Simba's Strength when mad. Mufasa let Scar stay all that time in pridelands being disrespectful even after missing Simba's birth. Oh no Mufasa " oh no Mufasa, perhaps you shouldn't turn your back on me "walking off. Mufasa got in his face saying is "that a challenge" & Mufasa still let Scar slicktalk & turn his back & walk off again 😂😂. Mufasa only sigh, what am I going to do with him." Scar been a problem even before Simba's birth. Simba as King would've been exiled Scar. I think Jody forgot how thorough Simba was in Simba's Pride. Simba> Mufasa.. from what we seen as King Simba compared to the little time of Mufasa as King in original movie

What up Jody, Kion, and E-Man! To me, the trailer looks fine, but look here mayne, WHO ASKED FOR AN ORIGIN STORY FOR MUFASA?! I know he's a great character in the original movie but c'mon, mayne!! We want to see some new characters & some new movies. But I keep forgetting its Disney. Still running out of ideas. I'll probably go see this movie with some young relatives but I'll keep my expectations REAL LOW.
