So very very sorry. I know the heartache you’re going through. 💔🌈💔my miniature schnauzer,my precious boy went over rainbow bridge fifteen months ago.💔🌈💔sending you very special hugs from me and my lovely Molly moo, another miniature schnauzer. I shop at the Salvation Army in Lancaster and a few weeks ago they had a sale on certain clothing color tags for 99¢. I purchased J.Crew, Calvin Klein, Talbots, Lands End, J.Jill, and so many other great brands for only 99¢ apiece!
My youngest son, took me through this process and I found it to be extremely helpful! Whenever I was on the fence about something he would ask, "does it bring you joy?" We laughed and had a beautiful time together!
I loved the shopping trip... talk about organized. ❤❤ and enjoyed the unboxing. Liked the PA Dutch items & the mention of Penns Cave. Always enjoyed going there when I was growing up and we would visit my grandparents.
I would love the iron. I use them for my quilting and so do others. Salvation Army used to be cheaper, however it doesn't look like it these days. I'm intrigued by the boxes and this one looked pretty good.
I love that little folding basket. I thought maybe it was to carry a casserole dish. The auction items were fun to go through with you. I watched both unboxing.
Dagny I enjoy watching your unboxing videos they are very entertaining. Also in Australia we call The Salvation Army stores 'Salvos' as we are to lazy to pronounce the whole name lol.
My local Salvation Army thrift store has a wonderful curated section. They do a fantastic job pricing antiques and vintage collectibles about 20% less then ebay prices for us collectors to have a chance to purchase things before the resellers. If things don't sell they have a mark down system so eventually things go to 75% off.
I love when you change things up and try different stores. I’ve been having better luck at the smaller independent thrift stores. I still cruise through Goodwill at least twice a month. You got some good vintage items in your boxes. I’m sure someone out there collects those things. A crafter would love the napkins for decoupage projects! Wow, I’m chatty today😂
This channel is so great.Iam from Butler Pa and I remember Salvation Army Thrift stores .I now live in Cincinnati Ohio and the thrift stores here are awful. They totally lost the meaning of the word thrift! Seriously,I went to a ASaint Vincent DePaul thrift and they wanted no less then four dlrs for a coffee mug .One piece of silverware is a dollar a piece .Enjoy the prices at your shops .🫶❤️🔥🙋♀️
Beware!!! Salvation Army prices are higher than goodwill here, (north central Ohio) last week I bought adias hoodie for 5.99 at Goodwill n dame hoodie at salvation army same day was 9.99. Dalvation army has always been reasonable till here resently! Couldnt believe theyve raised their prices higher than goodwill!
My Salvation Army says they are a boutique store so everything is priced high no matter what it is and the condition. One lady who works there will lower the prices because even she thinks it's ridiculous to charge 7.99 for a slightly damaged figurine
Our local Goodwill had a fire the other day. The Fire Marshall has declared the fire as arson! They have a picture of a man that they want to question. Sadly all the clothes and goods must be thrown out. The CEO of Southern Jersey Goodwill, said it's devastating to us especially this time of the year because the donation rate for January and February are very low. They are asking the community to help with donations. This is a very big store too, just sad someone would do this.
I heard that a lot of people are angry at Goodwill because they are not a non-profit. They have jacked their prices up. And they treat their handicapped workers like crap and exercise some depression era law that makes it so they can pay their workers less than minimum wage while the CEO makes big bucks. They are killing themselves off.
The wire basket made in France is an egg basket. "Marque déposée" is French for registered trademark. I may be odd but I cannot listen to paper crinkling. It hurts my brain, so I either watch on mute or skip those videos where I know there will be paper mayhem!
I’ve sworn off of Goodwill- outrageous prices on items that have been DONATED! Poor people can’t even shop for necessary items- think resellers have a lot to do with plus salaries of upper corporate officers😡
For a place that gets everything donated you would think the prices would be more reasonable. I understand why they do it and the proceeds go to helping people in need but.. oh well.
I work for one of the big thrift stores and as for pricing… at least 5 paid employees touch every single donation from the donation station to the processor to the pricer to the one merchandising and finally the cashier… so for each donation it’s goes through 5 people and then there are the building costs… trucks…etc etc… the list is long! Also you have to remember for our local organization, last year, 5000 residents of our county got free job training in careers like culinary, IT, HVAC, custodial, retail, etc etc… also a long list… so in the end you are still getting quality items at a discounted price… all while helping others in your community… I’d call that a WIN/WIN!!! Also forgot to mention for every donated item we get at least 3 items that should have been put in the landfill… we pay huge dumping fees cause folks like to dump their trash on us too … that is a huge cost…
The Salvation Army by me is terrible. The prices are horrendous and its family owned and they take everything out that they want just like the Goodwill and post it online. It’s a shame what these stores do.
The Salvation Army Family stores are not privately owned. They are a non profit business and are part of the Salvation Army organization. About 10 years ago, my SA store had a room with all the collectible types of things including clothes. They no longer do that. The big store in my area used to have a lot of furniture but the last time I went in they didn’t have as much. We have a small Goodwill by me but I don’t shop with them.
Today my 16 year old dog crossed the rainbow bridge, I held him as his life slipped away. 😢❤ give your pets an extra cookie 🍪

Is that a steamer basket?
So refreshing to see a different thrift store. Too many Goodwill stores.
So true!
BMP Canada is Blue Mountain Pottery. It was different than the usual glazes we see. Very nice but you're right, it would be pricey to ship.
Yes! I came to say this exact thing 😊
That is their slate glaze.
I like the auction boxes as well as the shopping videos! The boxes are fun to see what you actually got.
I love the green canisters at 4:08. I also like the gathering basket on the right side of the canisters.
I enjoy all your videos
That's is so nice of you to say Sinead 💜🐷

Glad to see a new store other than goodwill 😊
Do You know if the salvation army has a CEO that earn thousands a year like Goodwill?
At first in the reflection I was like “why is this man standing right behind her?!” but then I realized it was Jimmy 😂
The only push up bars I like are the ones from the freezer that are orange sherbet.
I would love the iron. I use them for my quilting and so do others. Salvation Army used to be cheaper, however it doesn't look like it these days. I'm intrigued by the boxes and this one looked pretty good.
I remember the shelfpaper. When we did the seasonal cleaning, we always changed the shelfpaper.
I love going to the auction with you
So fun to watch the auction unboxing...thanks for sharing!!!!
Thanks for watching
What an interesting boxes. That looked like fun. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
The fancy ends stuff….4/$20….u called containers…..are kitchen canisters: holding sugar, flour, etc. Very mid-century vintage. Collectible.
I had those green canisters in my first apartment. A hand me down gift from my Mom. I wish I still had her, and them, in my life.
lol, I am sure she knows they are canisters, but she didn’t call them that so it’s nice of you to let her know 😊
A canister is a type of container.
@@ryders_mom and a container can be many things….just being more specific that’s all.
I love the tea pot. Enjoyed this video ,but I always enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing. 😊

Watching you unpack auction boxes is fun! 😊
Glad you like them!
The boxes had really neat MCM paper goods. Enjoyed...

Your Salvation Army Store is so nice! My local SA closed 2 years ago and I miss it terribly...
I enjoyed opening the boxes with you! Happy thrifting. 😊
You're always so fun to watch and I loved the spongebob reference 😂 thx for another great video
I love your live auction videos and seeing all of your items
That was Secret Bear. The original one was peach color and would talk! My daughter has the whole set from the 80's!

My daughter and I frequently go to this Salvation Army. I am always disappointed with not enough hardgoods.
Hi Mom!
Yes, we do 😊 I feel a trip coming up 😅

I’d be disappointed with the prices, too. They are as bad as Goodwill now! Yikes!

The unboxing videos are cool. Keep posting them
Thanks! Will do! 💚🐷
Love all the MCM ❤️
Before you sell that Tonia truck ..I would look up the price of it .
If the cord is good on the iron, it might be useable. Some older irons that don't have holes on the bottom are good for transfers.
The year of the DRAGON starts in February!
Please tell Jenny I enjoy watching her videos even though I don't have a clue on how to play the new game she loves.

I live very close to that store and every Thursday and Friday one color tag is.99 in every department, furniture has a different price after $24.99.
I love unboxing!!❤❤
Love your three doggies. Do they leave you anyplace to sit? 😊

I had those Libbey glasses
I like the idea of the bagged cloth/clothing items, but you can't see if something has stains. 😒

4:00 BMP CANADA. That would have been a great score if it was priced right.
BMP. Blue Mountain Pottery.

In Myerstown, PA 🐷
