Probably the hardest camera to keep focus on in my opinion using this camera out side is difficult as you are using a phone to monitor I suggest you set you’re aperture to over 5.6 Never try walking on a f2 aperture as you will do what I have done and go and look at you’re footage on the big screen disappointed as it’s soft ( out of focus) I have the focus wheel and peaking on high still find focusing hard on this tool If anyone has any tips please share
hi, congratulations on your very comprehensive video. I'm in Italy I bought the used Osmo Pro X5 Zenmuse on the photographic market. I am very happy with my purchase but I have a problem. my app shows that I cannot take videos beyond 4K 25FPS and 1080 50FPS. While your video and also the technical parameters say that the camera can go up to 4K 30FPS and 1080 60FPS. Can you help me solve it?
It sounds like your camera is set to PAL, in order to shoot in 30/60fps you will need to be set to NTSC. In the Osmo menu that is done under "Video Standard". Go to 15:00 in the video to see how to change this.

I'll put a couple down here if you like to see it. in fact, I had bought an Insta360 1-Inch, But not being able to do the blur effect with that, I decided to buy this camera even if it is out of production. The fact is that apparently the quality is much lower than Insta360. But I don't know if I'm wrong in the settings. For example, given that I like to do color grading, is it advisable to use d-log or d-cinelike options? The question is why it seems to me that the rendering is rather faded images. Also I often find it difficult to focus on this machine. If you have an email address I could send you a comparative video that I did both with color grading and without. Maybe from that you could check if I make any errors in settings. In the meantime, thanks for your patience ruclips.net/video/46_JayDmquA/видео.html ruclips.net/video/Lwte7kSoEd4/видео.html

I recommend finding some guides specializing in working with D-Log footage and starting there. I hope this helps, and best of luck!
@@MagnanimousMediaChicago Dearest friend, I followed your advice and I am gradually improving my knowledge of the car. I find it excellent even if with focus limits. I was reviewing your video (I did it often in this period, huh huh), I saw that at 14.44 minute you enter the Reference Guide menu, which seems to me a specific menu to understand the function of the viewfinder, and probably to improve the setting in focus (Which for example I have not yet understood, and no user manual explains it, because sometimes it is green square other times rectangular more often other times instead very thin rectangular. I would be grateful if you could explain the meaning). My update doesn't have this menu, I don't understand why, yet I think I have updated the Osmo Pro to the latest version I could find. If you have a more up-to-date version of the software, how can I get it? Thank you for your kind support.
very good and clean tutorial!
had my first operator job with the osmo and was therefore quite safe :)
thank you very much for the efforts!
