- Pretty big news here as we have some more insight into the upcoming Avatar merch push, Jazwares is going to be the big company doing Avatar toys.

I guess this also opens up the potential for some brand collabs for Avatar like Squishmallows and Nerf which Jazwares makes.

I feel like something similar will happen to what happened recently with the fourth Captain America movie, which was delayed for several months, but that didn't affect the toys that have already come out and in which we have several spoilers for some characters. Maybe this Avatar toy line will come out in October 2025, or a few months before when the campaign for the first movie was already planned to be deployed with trailers, posters and so on, but since it's now delayed, we might have figures of the adult gaang or even the villain of the movie that could spoil some things for us.
please finally Korra figures, I gave up hope Funko will ever do more (that isn't NFT). I want a Tenzin figure.
I hope this includes LOK. Am still confused on how the whole Avatar Legends title that they were using for a while plays into all this.

Exciting news! I like their line of Halo action figures and vehicles. Those action figures are quite nice and they do tend to offer a good variety of characters per wave though there’s always a Master Chief in every wave. I think the challenge for Avatar is figuring out how much re-use they can get out of the molds without it just being the same character with a different facial expression. Everyone’s outfits are so unique it’s difficult to re-use parts from other characters. Spirit Aang and Avatar State Aang are two easy ones just with different paint apps, Sokka in his Book 1 warrior outfit would probably work. But the re-use is slim beyond army builder characters.
Hasbro would have been my first choice though it was always unlikely because they’re offloading a lot of licenses right now. Glad it’s not Mattel as they still really struggle to put out female characters.
But as you said, if they can time it right and offer a good character selection, I think Jazwares could be really solid for Avatar.
This is very exciting news. Official Avatar merch is kinda hard to come by. Excited to see what they'll make. But for me, personally, it's all gonna depend on the quality of the merch if I'm gonna buy it or not.
I don’t have much faith of any of these toylines ever giving us the more niche characters, because while die hard fans want them, they don’t appeal to the mass market the way 40 different Aang, Zuko, Korra, Katara’s do.
