Leaving off the hose clamps from all those connections is a good idea. Much better to quickly reconnect after separation than splitting the line which causes cutting out bad sections and having more connections to reconnect at spring thaw.

A person here said to use the tree for furniture. It made me think of the $350 log on wayfair they were selling as an end table. Take two of the logs from the base, put them on end in the house, and you have Wayfair end tables. Looks like you will have a good bit of firewood from that tree. Now just have to split it, luckily there is plenty of time until fall. And congrats on getting your water back. The windows look great, perfect view coming up those stairs. I have a question, I asked this before and I apologize for asking again. What is the breed of the brown haired dog. I know you said it was Australian, but thats all I remember. Thank you.

When shimming frames you need to put a shim in fat side first and another shim thin side in over the top. Keeps the boards square. This means cutting the fat side of the shim to the correct thickness. Takes some time. And maybe you are doing this already. I just couldn’t tell. 😊

All new windows have a 3/4" wide slot that's 3/4" deep on bottom top an both sides for Sill boards to slip into an seal out any dirt an allows for adjustment to flush each one with finished wall. All be building this summer an ripping down the 14x70 mobile home. 15 years late but better late then never. I'll have a few years left to enjoy it.
