I went to the podiatrist a few weeks ago and he didn’t do any kind of test or exam on my foot, but still diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis. My pain is mainly in the back of my heel (only on the bottom when I first get up in the morning), and the inside of my arch. Pretty sure I won’t go be going back to him again.
Try calf stretches against a wall, brining the opposite foot in front and cross over a bit. Really helps to stretch the right part. I like to move the other foot forward and back while stretching to get a full range.
get a foam ramp stretch calf three times a day for two minutes . you don’t have to do any work . just stand on it. most Plant fasciitis is from tight calves Keep in mind you can’t just stretch. It always goes back like a rubber band. you need to strengthen. long and strong is a good way to remember. Wake up in the morning and warm yourself up a little bit, and then stretch your calves and then stand on the end of the stairwell and do some calf raises. As you progress, hold a weight in your hand.
That’s exactly where mine is located. 7 months of different treatments and not better. MRI tech saw something but didn’t say what. Waiting to see what the heck it is. Dr. already talking surgery since everything else has failed.
Yes just this past two weeks it has got better, I only noticed an improvement when I changed my foot wear. I am now jogging twice a week. What about you?@@bartsimpson-k4i
I screamed in my head. I always ask my husband to massage my feet, but it has to be extra EXTRA gentle on that spot because if not I will scream as if I had stepped on a sharp, hot piece of glass.
I’m curious if you can help me out here. I twisted my ankle a few months ago and landed weird on my foot. Ever since I have pain in my foot near the ankle I’d moved a certain way. Do you know ow why I’m experiencing this still?

I got rid of pain in my heel by doing 3 minute calf stretches, I'm pretty sure it was plantar facitis.

The toe extension isn't necessary at all. If + for PF will hurt 24/7 on its own.

lol but you clearly have PF. That’s a clear symptom if there’s pain on the heel after rest especially first thing in the morning.

Change your shoes to wide toe box shoes makes a big difference on the arches of your feet

I didn't experience pain in tĥis test. But when I walk on concrete for hours the arch, heal and toes hurt.

I have had plantar heel pain for 2 months. Some of the most pain I'm experiencing is when I'm sitting. I get a shooting pain up and down my ankle.
